"Strangest Indian experience ever. Food: everything else: We turned up at this pub seeing the usual spoons type crowd outside. Shirtless, smoking, staring. Walked in and no sanitiser. No staff doing anything remotely hygienic like washing hands, distancing, mask wearing. Absolutely none of...that. Our Indian waitress even served the rice with her thumbs clearly in the bowl. Leaning right over us on multiple occasions. As did the English bar lady. She picked up empty glasses from the table, then went to make new drinks without washing hands at any point. Like the last months didn’t even happen. Oh and there was a bit mark in the table numbers."

of us at around about tables occupied, by completely full of diners. Ordered too much this time. Lovely food as before. Staff working hard and remaining pleasant. Bar staff as well. Being a Saturday, footie crowd arrived, ensuring a good atmosphere.

came with a group to watch the sport on the last Saturday and we all went for a few beers and the grill plate. very pleasant, well seasoned and plentiful. we had nothing else, but if the plate is everything to go by, I'm also trying to court the other ones. was pleasantly surprised! will return. Ordered Madras and patia takeaway both currys were patia even though Madras and patia written on tubs. time now given wrong curry. Will be looking elsewhere as getting fed up with getting wrong food. It used to be great place but now when you...eat in takes ages to receive food then your order has wrong meat in the currys. The chefs dont get your order right. Disappointed last twice ate in and with last takeaway.

We went out for a meal before lockdown The restaurant was very busy, which led to quite a long wait for food (understandable, this is not a complaint) the waitress we had was great, very friendly and helpful and the waitress behind the bar...was also very good! The food itself was great, I had a chicken and mushroom balti which was up there with the best curry I've had! I would definitely return when allowed. Its a bit too far from my house for takeaway unfortunately.

"The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to £50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is £7, it's incredibly expensive. There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required. There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but £15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke."
