16 of us and the staff couldn't do enough, just one tiny thing, I wish the rice portions were bigger. Always lovely food.

The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. It's best to make a reservation, even during the week. There's also a convenient parking space available.

Attentive waiters, nothing too much trouble. Dishes we tried were delicious. Good value money. Was extremely busy, high turnover of visitors during our 2hr visit.

As always, the food was amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. We had placed a delivery order for a specific time, but unfortunately, it arrived an hour early. The team was incredibly apologetic and offered to take the food back and deliver a new order at the requested time, but we decided to keep it warm instead. After the driver returned to the restaurant, the manager, Max, called to apologize again and insisted on sending a fresh order at our preferred time. I was truly impressed!

My dad used to come here for takeout when I was a baby, always ordering a madras and enjoying a pint of Carling while he waited! Last night, I returned to celebrate my 50th birthday with my dad and the family, and I was pleased to find that the quality of service and food remains excellent. The service is top-notch, and the food is delightful—thankfully, they have Kingfisher on tap now instead of Carling! I gave the food four stars because the prawns in my dhansak were a bit chewy, and the lamb in my son's dish had the same issue. However, aside from that, it was an incredible meal, and I have always loved this place for my curries—and I always will!

Wow. I mean... wow. I'm a massive fan of indian food (take a look at my reviews) and I will try every single indian outlet I can. The New Bengal gets a solid 5 star rating and is the single, most delicious indian food I've had to date. Ordered in (because we're Covid positive right now and self isolating) on a Thursday evening via their website, a lamb madras for me and a paneeri karma for her with keema rice to share and onion bhaji and pops. Food was with is un short order and piping hot always a good start! Unfortunately, she couldn't taste hers because she's lost the sense of taste and smell.
