Nothing good to say about the service, food was average. Not a good experience!

Dining with friends that live in the Canary Wharf area all were excited to try a Ramsey restaurant for the first time.

Somewhat underwhelming unfortunately. Food was pretty cold, service was slow and a 15% service charge rounded off an average experience at best with an overly excessive price tag Voir le carte

Beautiful setting on the Thames. We were sat at a lovely table with a bright and airy ambience. Fish Chips and full rack of ribs were absolutely excellent (especially the spicy bbq marinade). Special mention to our funny, warm and engaging host Rafael for looking after us. We’ll be back!

Had roast beef. Bit disappointed with overall quality to be honest. Meat was average. Roast potatoes were pretty anaemic, Yorkshires were quite nice. Gravy was good (and had extra. horseradish mixed with creme fraiche needed to be more punchy and there was no English mustard. More veg would have been nice. Apart from that….

Absolutely fantastic Lunch! I booked the table for 2 for lunch for myself and my friend. The selection in the menu was perfect, we chose the vegan smashed burger and fries, it was fantastic and I’m not vegan just sounded really nice and it was! Our waitress/maitre ‘d was wonder she was so attentive, gave us suggestions and made us feel very welcome. Thank you to everyone Voir le carte

The bottle of white wine we ordered was warm. They took our order for fish chips and then let us know it was off the menu, so we had to choose something else. My husband ordered a steak ale pie and got a chicken leak pie. The spinach we ordered did not arrive until we asked for it (obviously forgotten) and when it did arrive, it was gritty. The chips were cold. All in all, a great disappointment.

At the very beginning we waited a very long time for someone to come to the table and say hello. We had to stop someone to order. Our water was never refilled during the service. The glasses stood empty. I ordered a lemon swizzle which was too sweet at the beginning but after mixing it became too sour and bitter. I ordered a poke bowl which was good but I think there was very little rice for a large portion. My husband ordered a Sunday roast which was delicious but unfortunately the plate was missing green beans which we noticed on the table next to us, the portion was also smaller than the table next to us.

Sadly I wasn’t able to give this venue 5 stars due to one key element lack of staffing! Being a Bank Holiday Monday I deliberately booked a later time slot (2.45pm) we arrived earlier and were chilled when we had to wait a little longer for our table booking. It was evident that they were understaffed, with the continual issue of having to keep asking for water, condiments and more drinks. This said, the two key team members (non management) were clearly doing their very best to attend to us and other guests within the conservatory, all with a lovely manner but over run with guest hospitality basics.
