"Really enjoyed the dirty burger and fries with the dripping sauce! Staff are nice and service was good. Didn't have a great experience last time with an I.D. situation for my daughter and her partner who's birthday it was and 25, had no I'd on her other than a picture of their passports and driving licence on their phone. Which was refused!, so we left, very unhappily. But we have been back and enjoyed it again. Just a shame that night was ruined. However, we will go back. Just make sure if you are lucky enough to not look 30! Have I.D. the service last night was much better. The food is generally very nice. Just don't have the Rumbaba dessert and is is just sponge cake an certainly not what you expect when you have the real thing in Italian restaurants."

Slow service but food was ok. I think the fact it was New Years Day meant it was not up to usual standard. Quantity over quality. Starter of duck pate and desert of creme broullet were good but let down by main of roast beef.

the merlin is a beautiful pub with friendly staff. service very good, eat excellent. can definitely recommend the fillet steak sandwich with sweet potato pommes, it is my decision. my son had the dirty burger he said was delicious. eating is always an excellent standard.

Service was excellent, staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Food came quickly and was hot but the quality and presentation was a little average. Not somewhere we’d choose for a special occasion based on this visit but certainly adequate for a quick mid week bite to eat. Voir le carte

Le service était très lent ... s'est plaint des frites brûlées et a été apporté plus également que brûlé ..... les crépitements croustillants sur le porc n'étaient pas croustillants et les serveurs n'ont aucune idée de l'étiquette en utilisant notre table servir la table de quelqu'un d'autre n'est pas vraiment quelque chose à quoi on s'attend .... dans l'ensemble déçu
