Excellent accommodation, very friendly staff, food Excellent, the accommodation was very clean and well kept, can't fault it. We will be back again.

Ate solo, hadn't booked, random visit. Had the crab salad plentiful, tasty, served extremely promptly by cheerful friendly staff. Would be happy to eat there again.

Have eaten in this pub several times and no complaints until now. We both had one of their specials which was a lamb dish with ratatouille. The lamb was nice and tender but extremely dry and over cooked. Great shame

The staff were very friendly and gave good service. However the food was terrible roast beef was medium rare and tough. Beef was cold and rare The vegetable were so tough they could not be cut. Not worth £17 for a roast dinner.

We have just spent four nights staying near Sheringham and have eaten here twice. All four of us really rated our meals (including crab salad, chilli, ham, egg and chips) and described them as tasty, well-cooked, filling and value for money. The bar staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Terrible crab sandwich, worst ever. I asked for a crab sandwich at the bar , it wasn 't listed under 'sandwiches, however it was advertised by a notice painted on the wall 'crab sandwich '. Cost £11.95, shock- as it was apparently a full lunch, (in the lunch section ?? 70% avocado , salad was a few leaves covered in a dressing, fries greasy.

Popped in early evening Boxing Day with my husband for a Christmas drink nice and traditional decor but could be updated a bit within minutes a family group starting getting very loud swearing, even the toddler was swearing the one bar staff seemed to know them and clearly didn’t care ! No wonder the place was empty! Never again ! We are local to sheringham and had heard bad things, we should have listened.

We stayed at the Lobster Inn in one of the attached small cottages. It was absolutely delightful. Sheringham is a lovely seaside town and the cottage was only a stones throw from the sea. There were two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, one with an ensuite. There was also a small lounge dining room. The cottage was very clean. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was very well equipt with a proper dishwasher. We had breakfast in the Pub both mornings we were there which was very well cooked with a very friendly service. We had a drink in the pub the night we arrived which was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying at the Lobster Inn, I'm sure I will be staying there...

Had a mixed first experience when we visited for lunch on a Monday in late October. We arrived c1215pm and over the time we were there it became very busy. The positives the real ales were good. I really enjoyed my local crab salad, as did my wife with her onion rings side . The not so goods : there were periods when there was no one available at the bar for 5 minutes plus. My wife ordered a ciabatta with brie and red onion chutney. When it arrived, the waitress said it was brie with cranberry sauce. We immediately said that this was not what we ordered and the waitress apologised and said she would get the correct order. About 15 minutes later, the replacement was brought and my wife and I...
