"this was my third visit, although the first one for a few years. I expected a fabulous meal, but unfortunately was disappointed. Eating was good, but not exceptional. the tempura prawns could have been from the island. they were dim balls. .doughy balls, with little taste and an unpalatable texture. the bottle wein (of the cheaper end of the winery last) was very common if I had paid for it from a last, I would have made a note not to buy it again. I had hoped to start with a beer, but unfortunately there were only camps or small doses of beer under the ales section of the drink menu. since they took the pub since I was last there, I could have got a beer. at the end of the meal I decided to take a whisky with my coffee, just to discover that even the cheapest ordinary whisky was for a tiny shot. That's ridiculous. I waited until I came home and had one with my cheese and cookies because I was hungry for the tiny portions. I'm not leaving."

The chips were ok, but nothing special. The sauces (mayo and ketchup) tasted a bit funny. Think they were just really cheap condiments? Would go somewhere else next time.

beautiful to see a few vegetarian options, I had the burger with relish, which was nice with red cabbage, away from the ordinary salate. led by a very pleasant young, legendary. Voir le carte

Yes the title says it all. Ordered online , picked up meal at correct time. Got to caravan and opened up to huge portions of fish and chips. What is even better is they were very nice and extremely well priced.

We would normally recommend The Lighthouse for a special meal as we have had some great experiences in the past. I'm afraid the current menu didn't hit the spot for our party of not as amazingly tasty as previously and everyone left hungry I'm sure we will be back though at some point. Voir le carte

I am very pleased with quality, taste, look of food. good service. the best chips of all time. they are delicious even cold. a lot of cheese. delicious sauces. the parts are large. could easily share one for two. salate always fresh. I got from. the last years ordered, no regret. always eat the same quality. always on time.

we live in a beautiful village, gardenstown at banff in Scotland. we went to banff and searched for fish and chips. I had seen the lighthouse fish store at an earlier visit. we ordered large fish and chips and a part of sampi, £14.50 it advertises...a food in the facility. we had a look and the one seat was used by employees/family for their meal times, so we brought them back to the car to eat them. do not get their fish and chips from here! suspicious hygiene and not inviting. eating was best edible, but nothing else. I wouldn't see.
