Had a takeaway from lantern tonight got to say it was the worst Chinese I’ve had in a longtime very surprised as food from here is generally very good

not only the usual shredded salate, some tomato and gurke, it has tweak, paprika and ananas also! consistently delish. salt and chili chickens large, quite a lot have never been disappointed with any dish.

We had to fling out practically the whole meal, chicken And sweet corn soup tasted of sugar, Our chicken dishes tasted slimy, and our chips were dried out.The salt and chilli chicken was like rubber...Hugely disappointed. Voir le carte

Definitely worth a visit! I tried the chicken rolls and beef pasta, and both were delicious. I usually go for the chicken fried rice, but it has been a bit too salty lately. I appreciate that they now have allergy information more prominently displayed, and I was happy to learn that the chicken nuggets are gluten-free. It's great to have so many options for people with dietary restrictions.

This used to be the go-to place for Chinese carry out but lost its way for a while. I decided to try it again (after about years) and must say it is very good. The portion of ribs was large, tasty and more meat...than I had expected great value for money. The chicken satay was spicier than most other places and very nice indeed. Delivery time was good better than most. I'l certainly try this place again.

Oh dear what has happened here. Have been using this take away for years and always enjoyed the food but not the last time and certainly not tonight. Got the sweet and sour chicken and you could not eat it as it was so tuff...and salty. Even the dog would not entertain it but I was glad as there was so much salt in it. The sauce was **** as well. Will not be back a total rip off. The only reason for one star is you cannot give none Voir le carte

ordered a takeaway as tasty bites for my sonny birthday through the just eating app. After I was initially informed that my order would last about minutes, I would be disappointed if my meal did not arrive half an hour later. When I called the restaurant to ask, I was told it was just with the driver. a few minutes later and I had not yet got it I live only a minute drive away. hours after the first order I ended with the cancellation. not the best ways to finish my sonny birthday!

the ordered takeaway here and eating saw great service and gathering time was spot on but my got the salt and chiliries had so much salt or mosg on them she felt it burns the inner of the mouth, and to the spoiled all the others. food that we ordered as all u taste was salt! also the chicken on the pink side went into the satay spits, but to note that the chicken curry was not the worse,as due to the taste of the chips that I previously, real shame, can only observe what they order, how for me spoiled the meal would like to say better but not at the next time.

The Lantern one of only a couple of Chinese restaurants that continue to open trade on Christmas night for those of us who crave a Christmas night curry. That other restaurant being The Curry House. Years ago, pretty much every Chinese restaurant/takeaway opened at...least for a few hours, but year on year the number who continue to trade goes down which is a pity. I ordered a breast of chicken curry chopped without onions, fried rice, prawn crackers, chips an extra curry sauce at a cost of Delivery on Christmas night from The Lantern was so I opted to go pick my meal up myself. My meal considering it was Christmas night was very good indeed. My only criticism it is only slight, is the salt... Voir le carte
