"The restaurant offered a very limited selection of food, as most of the items we wanted to order were out of stock. We were disappointed to find no scallops, mussels, crab, or Côte de boeuf available. The dishes we did receive were mediocre, particularly the overcooked spinach that seemed to have been microwaved, and the undercooked, tough green beans. The service was lackluster and verging on rude. The staff seemed annoyed when we requested mayonnaise for our fries, responding with tired sighs and eye rolls. This is not how customers should be treated."

"Came with a voucher. Staff friendly and helpful. Spicy mozzarella balls with Arrabbiata sauce as a starter was awful. Cheese balls x 3 not filled with mozzarella and served with garlic mayonnaise! Not sure what the cheese was but it was yellow and pasty so...who knows! Pizza was nice. Limited vegetarian options and would not return. Would be pretty fed up if I’d paid £6.95 for the starter and £13.70 for the pizza! With the voucher I only paid £9.50 but still felt the food was poor quality. I wonder sometimes if restaurants miss the point of Groupon vouchers. We always opt to try a Groupon initially and if the food is as described and good we go back and pay full price. It’s an intro so restaurants should be making the effort with these deals because in the long run the restaurant benefits from it."

"Love coming to this atmospheric pub. On this occasion came for lunch following attending one of the Salisbury Cathedral tours (stonemasons). Friendly staff , efficient service. We were told at the outset that, as we were a group, ordering different things, our meals might arrive at slightly different times. In the event, there was only one slight ‘outlier’ and others were still eating when his arrived, so he wasn’t ‘isolated’"

"Visiting Salisbury for a party and stayed for an extra night. Staying in a local hotel and looking for a Sunday evening meal. Found this place on the internet and so glad we did. Nice cosy restaurant, lovely, helpful staff and sublime food. Incredibly impressed with our meals, cooked fresh and if we hadn't been full we would have ordered again. So happy to discover there is a Giggling Squid in our home city. Will be regular visitors that's for sure."

"J'ai emmené mon partenaire à Anokaa pour son anniversaire, j'y étais allé plusieurs fois mais il ne l'avait pas fait et cela n'a pas déçu.La nourriture était exceptionnelle, des portions parfaites et tellement savoureuses! Le personnel était super accueillant, sympathique et arrangeant. Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander Anokaa ou à y retourner. Incroyable"
