"While we were staying in Dalbeattie for a long weekend in January, we were recommended to visit the King 's Arms for some good food. We did indeed follow this advice and were well rewarded by superb food and excellent beer. The friendly staff were very accommodating and secured us a spacious table and provided a high-chair for our one year old. We all left as very satisfied customers and will return when next in the town."

This is a busy pub and you need to book around the weekend. We enjoyed our meal here the food is hearty, with good sized portions, but not outstanding. The locals were friendly and the staff welcoming.

Situated conveniently in the heart of Dalbeattie, this is a very popular pub/restaurant with locals and for good reason. The menu is extensive and good value, the staff friendly and efficient. There's modern, airy restaurant through the bar so it's good for families too. The fish and chips are massive with lovely fresh fish.

This traditional hotel/pub restaurant had a much larger range of food than you would usually find in a similar place. We each had a starter and main and the food was delicious. There was plenty of distancing between groups and they had a brilliant call-bell system that let you ask to order food or drinks or to ask for the bill.
