The King's Arms - Carte

Remarkably expensive, dark, dingy place. Food is very good, but sadly service is often poor.

A nice pint of real ale, sat in the courtyard. A number of chairs were broken. Could do better.

In the small town of Berkhamsted, the welcome is perfect. The rooms are very functional and the food is excellent. Voir le carte

The food is amazing after eating in Michelin star restaurants I would choose those restaurant everytime consistently amazing food

Enjoyed a lovely pre-wedding meal at the Kings Arms. The staff and food were great! Come closing time my vehicle wouldn't start, and they even stayed late to help me get on the road again. Above and beyond the call of duty

The Kings Arms is a great spot to go for lunch. The menu has a very wide range and it's reasonably priced the food always comes out nice and hot. The staff behind the bar are very welcoming and warm. I think this is best pub in Berkhamsted. The bar restaurant split means you can come for any occasion and drinks are fairly priced. Alcohol free beer on tap is always a plus. Food is also great. The Sunday roast is spectacular (those yorkshire pudding are huge! and never disappoints. This is always my go to for food or drinks

Went for lunch after a long time here, for the price they scored low; dirty beer glasses, still a fruit fly problem near the bar, panino sandwich was very good, shame they can’t serve clean glasses and then charge service on a drinks only tab when no table service is provided, and then you’re asked if you weren’t happy with the service when asking for a refund as didn’t expect service charge on drinks only order…paying service for pulling a pint!

We went for brunch. One tea pot was served without a lid. Surely they have other tea pots? The tea was nice though. The gluten-free bread was completely inedible and was left untouched. The vegetarian breakfast was more expensive than the full English, which was confusing. The portion of avocado was minimal, and the food tasted like it had been cooked alongside or even on top of meat. The staff member adding logs to the fire had their underwear and buttocks outline showing, which was unnecessary. One glass was left on the table after we finished, and the staff member walked away without offering to clear it.
