The Kings Arms - Menu

Went to Kings Arms expecting a pub meal, but ended up with a lot more. Quality restaurant food was served in a separate dining room by friendly and efficient staff. Good food, good service at a reasonable price, what more can you ask for

We have visited this restaurant many times. The menu offers a great variety of options and we are always satisfied. Every dish we have tried has been delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is delightful, very polite and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

The King’s Arms is a very good traditional pub in the centre of Reeth. They have a good selection of drinks including real ales, and our pints of Wainwright’s were very good. We didn’t eat here, but it is clearly very popular for dining and I must say that the food we saw being served looked very good indeed. Service was welcoming and very good.

Another visit with friends to our favourite pub. Despite the great selection of food, it was comical we all opted for Phil's famous lasagne. Between us we rave about it and all but one had tried it before last night. Didn't disappoint even for the newbie lasagne eater. Finished off with a gorgeous dessert, piping hot treacle sponge and custard. Always a good night and meal.

Are here 7 nights in 11 days, best value by far, always a great meal, tasty and plentyful, each night has a 'deal '. Super dog friendly, Dave Badger get their own water bowl and bowl full of biscuits and meat off cuts. Atmosphere is relaxed, nothing is rushed, staff are friendly and helpful and like to chat between serving. Back next year, will dine here again. Thanks everyone

Stayed here one night on our Coast to Coast walk. Positives were that the wait staff in the bar and restaurant were efficient and friendly. The food was generally good. The room was quite spacious, however the toilet did not refill after flushing. We managed by refilling the tank manually. When we brought this up the next morning, staff told us that it had been that way for sometime and they were hoping to get someone out to fix it sometime. I guess they don’t place a high priority on a working toilet, I used the one downstairs in the restaurant. Also the packed lunches included 2 partially rotten apples and fairly tasteless ham and cheese sandwiches without condiments. I wish I could recomm...

If you want poxy half portions or fiddling little bits in the center of your plate, then The Kings Arms is not for you. When you eat at the Kings Arms you are never half full as they serve good food ,cooked well. I can recommend the pies,fish pie is my favorite but the meat pies come with a separate gravy boat. The burgers look like high rise flats as they are very large. The Kings Arms have a different theme each night, steak and wine ,curry's ,fish. They also cater for vegetarians and anyone with allergies,or special diets. I can't eat fats so they worked round my needs. You only have to say and they will try to come up with a solution. Stayed for 2 nights the room was spotlessly clean the bed comfortable the ensuite bathroom was quirky to say the least you couldn't open the.door fully it hit the sink so step in close door toilet didn't flush properly if at all very cramped space shower dated no mat so used the hand towel scaffolding all around the outside of the pub so that was the view from the room In the bar staff were friendly food was freshly cooked pub grub Breakfast was disappointing Coffee undrinkable very weak Full English looked very unappetising and sachets galore in a room that had blue fairy lights everywhere!The decor well every shelf/surface was covered with random ornaments even an unicorn cookie jar !!!eve...

We were staying at Orchard Campsite in Reeth so I looked for somewhere to eat on Friday night i booked a table in case it was busy. It’s a 5 minute stroll from campsite there are 2 other pubs also in this very pretty village, we drank in both but didn’t eat in either) when we arrived it was very quiet, but a warm pleasant atmosphere. We ordered a drink at the bar and then were shown our table, perfect I asked for a table in a corner because we have a vocal but friendly dog.
