3 attempts to give us the correct menu even after ordering off one. Apart from that, good service, nice atmosphere and value for money.

The restaurant is situated in a peaceful and charming countryside setting. The service is average. The food is flavorful, but the portion sizes could be larger.

The restaurant has lovely ambiance, top-notch service, and exceptional food. The menu features a variety of cuisines, all of which are delicious. I will definitely be coming back. Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant is exceptional and is served in a stunning building surrounded by peaceful gardens. I enjoy coming here for dinner or in the afternoon - it's always a fantastic experience!

We came here for the Sunday lunch about 18 months ago and this time we brought a couple of friends, we were slightly anxious it wouldn't be the same as we loved it last time but it was just as good as the first time excellent value for money and the service and happy smiling staff were brilliant keep up the good work!!

Perfect Christmas Afternoon Tea The room and hotel were beautiful with all the tasteful and elegant decorations. Sandwiches were lovely fresh delicious tea, scones and festive cakes. Always look forward to seeing the super professional service from Agniezska and Joanna. So friendly and welcoming to everyone. Very dissappointed as ww were sat down in the Restaurant to then be told we did not have a booking. On checking they found my booking which they said was in the bar area. We were shown to the bar area which was very dark no window and needed decorating. The hotel needs decorating very shabby. No cream or jam was served with the scones, we had to ask. The scones had the most peculiar texture, they were more like a cake. There was a group of rowdy men in the bar, seemed like work men. Overall not a relaxing afternoon tea for 4 ladies celebrating a 89 year olds birthday.

The place was very tired and seriously in need of renovation. Was asked to sit in the drawing room but waited for 10 minutes before a member of staff approached. Had afternoon tea on the terrace...table was wobbly...but food was nice and staff who served was very helpful. I could have overlooked the lack of refurb and left feeling like I'd had a nice afternoon but I made the mistake of using the toilets in reception. The smell was atrocious...I almost ran out. How can a hotel have toilets in that state for guests. I won't be returning unless I hear there has been an overhaul.

I took my mother for Afternoon Tea on Mother’s Day. Service was very chaotic. They had run out of Assam Tea. The sandwiches were very bland and my mum said the scones were stale. The cakes were nice. I just felt the service was poor. We were given our tea and sandwiches. After that, we never saw the waiter again. The table next to us waited over an hour for their sandwiches. I think they did not have enough staff and by serving both afternoon tea and Sunday roast, the kitchen was put under a lot of pressure. Update on 15/03/2024: Despite dining at the hotel on a day when it was raining heavily, the hotel has issued a Penalty Charge Notice seeking payment of a reduced fee of £60 within 14 day...
