"We called in having no idea what was awaiting us and were warmly greeted by the servers and shown to a pleasant table by the window. We were encouraged to see that the restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday and many of the patrons...appeared to be of Japanese origin. We were quickly asked what we wanted to drink and our chosen beverages arrived very quickly. We were able to study the extensive menu in peace but when asked if we were ready to order the waitress provided guidance and advice. The food arrived beautifully presented, piping hot and in vast quantities! Everything we ordered was delicious and we swapped small amounts as we all thought we'd made the best choice and wanted to show off to the others! The puddings were equally incredible with tempura battered deep fried ice cream a complete revelation! It tasted like ice cream filled donuts!"

I ordered a takeaway at deliveroo tonight. eating was amazing, we were so impressed. the dishes all tasted very fresh and were full of taste. they would be highly recommended!

of us went for lunch and chose from the special menu, Teriyaki Chicken ,Pork with rice and a Sushi selection. The food was ok; but thats it,nothing special,the pork was bland. Add to that a bill for soft drinks,not really good value....It's worth mentioning that the service was excellent, although the place wasn't busy ,just customers, including us in the middle of lunch hour,speaks volumes.It's ok for a chain restaurant.

We came here as a group for valentine's day. We had some deep fried octopus balls, spicy tuna rolls, chicken gyōza and a selection of sashimi and set meals. The quality of the food was very good. We had to chase up my partners meal...as we were sat there with ours for nearly minutes and he still had nothing. I always find this place on the chilly side but this time it wasn't so bad. The thing that let's this place down is the service! We had to keep chasing waiters for drinks as no one came to see us. No one even asked if we wanted any deserts. It's a shame as the food is so yummy!

Well, I love a good Japanese feed and I love good value. Bullseye on both accounts. With a little wait we were given an intimate booth, lovely job, country USA meets Tokyo. The sake choice was limited but excellent value, go cold is my advice....We had bottles. We started with edamame beans, tempura and char Sui. Great quality and good portions. Spicy udon noodles, soft shell crab, teriyaki eel, all delicious. Finished with a green tea and the total bill for two less than A-MAZ-ING. Don’t expect pure Japan, this is fusion food, but tasty and great value. A MUST if you come to Cardiff.

We came here on an extemely busy night, they managed to fit us in without booking but we got lucky as we saw people getting turned away because of how busy it was. This shows how good it is! My wife and I ordered a...few dishes of nigiri and makis to share and then of the bento boxes. everything was so delicious and freshly prepared. I saw people complain about how long their sushi was taking, and was astonished because I had had a peak at the sushi chef rolling away all made by hand. I would love to see the people moaning about the wait time of sushi roll some out themselves.People who want quick sushi should take a trip to Tesco... We cannot wait travel back to Cardiff to eat here again! B...

so I have often ordered a lot from here - appetizers, sushi and hot dishes - in the rule I would get temakis or guncans and a mixed meeress fried rice or squid (spacious and tasteless). Last couple times I had dinner from here something was just not right. the...rice wasn't fresh at all, the uni was either not when the color was far away, as an edible soullike looks, tastes or smells. this is sushi, so maybe not everyone is gifted, but a fried rice, which is described in a wise in the menu and I had it so often and then comes extremely oily and with the half of the seafood that it is.
