"Wow! Where do I start? Family of 6 staying in Saxmundham looking for traditional pub food, and Google didn't disappoint when it recommended H&H. They initially offered us a table outside as they were fully booked, but then found us a table inside and made us feel instantly welcome with their friendliness and warmth, even the locals chatted to us about our holiday etc. The menu is extensive and plenty of choice for 4 fussy children. The food filled our plates and all tasted amazing! Even though we were stuffed, we decided that being we were on holiday we all went for puddings and were so glad we did! Overall, the best review I could give is that it would be worth the 3 hr drive from our home in the Midlands to eat here, just make sure you book first! Parking: Large enough car park."

The dining experience was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Hunters and Dogs, but it's advisable to make a reservation as it tends to be busy.

Called into this pub on the off-chance, what a find , staff were great ,food extremely tasty and toilets very clean (something I always judge ! If we are that way again will make it our first choice.
