"my partner and I were stranded here yesterday, because of the heavy snow and we found protection in this beautiful pub, the owner made us a beautiful hot cup tee, warm us up and we are not charging us we are very grateful for this thank you so much! we rented a room, only on the street that was amazing, and everyone was so helpful, we certainly came home the same day. we will not forget these loving people, many thanks! x"

This is a small country pub, the garden is very small, and we sat in a marquis at the front. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is tasty and well presented, the portions are very generous.

I enjoyed a tasty lunch at this charming traditional country pub with incredibly friendly staff. We visited for an early lunch on a weekday and found ourselves as the only patrons there, so I cannot speak to the usual atmosphere. However, I had previously been there for a Sunday roast in the autumn and it was very busy.
