"very limited menu. not a fish dish. deep fried chicken served both as an appetizer and as a main with the same salat garnish, but only another sauce, both of which were homemade. chips were boiled in dirty oil with black burned bits in the bottom of the plate. will not be rushed back, which is a real scandal, as it has a first-class location and the potential to be a beautiful little bistro that is exactly what ballyclare needs. waitress was efficient and friendly and decor is beautiful. it is given up by the basic food."

"This is a coffee shop that you don't need to go too if you are looking for a very good variety menu. They don't do sandwiches and when I asked for a wheaten scone with jam and cream they didn't have any cream. They said they'd run out of cream and this was at lunchtime!!!! I'm not sure if they have a children's menu but if they don't it's definitely not a place to bring kids. It would be great to see food on their menu like other coffee shops and restaurants. PLEASE DON'T USE AS MUCH BUTTER AND IT WOULD BE GREAT TOO IF YOU COULD GET A FRY. I understand your trying to do Healthy options BUT YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR CUSTOMERS FIRST AND THINK ABOUT THEM. Staff are ok but service was very slow."

"I had previously posted a 1 star comment on google reviews due to some issues with my order. I am happy to now change that as my meal was replaced for free the next time I ordered (I ordered 2 meals this time and got 50% off so they replaced the order that had problems the week before). The food was great and my compliments to the chef (even if I did order a garlic Nan and was given a plain one). The reason my review is not 5/5 is because the manager of this restaurant has an attitude problem, he raised his voice to me on the phone which is not acceptable in my opinion, this was when I explained I was not happy with his offer of a few free popadoms and told him what I would be happy with (basically the meal I paid for a week before replaced due to problems with that order and previous orders) when I mentioned I have worked in customer service for many years and this is not how to handle this situation I got a response of… oh so you know better than me… In a cheeky way! On top of that, when I arrived at the restaurant he had the cheek to ask me what my experience was in customer service… I found this rude and inappropriate considering I had just drove from larne to give the restaurant the chance to resolve this issue. I did not get his name, I did ask for it but that was not forthcoming either time I requested it. Just to clarify I have been in customer service for over 10 years, 8 of which in management roles, having teams of 15 20 people work for me dealing with complaints about broadband and software issues, maybe I should have brought him my CV? I appreciate the problem was resolved, but this is because I stood my ground not because it was handled the way it should have been and this managers attitude needs some work. It’s a shame really as I always enjoyed the curries outside of items being missing or the Nan being burnt on occasions, but after that experience and taking a few days to think about how I should share this experience… I doubt we will be going back anytime soon! The girls who work in the place are fantastic, never had a bad thing to say about them and the chefs do a great job with the curries, but being spoke to in an angry way on the phone, then being questioned about my customer service experience was unacceptable."

"Firstl night out after lockdown, my husband and I decided to visit golf club . It used to be one of our favourite places. But have had a couple of disappointing visits. But on Wednesday 12 th Aug. we booked a table . Pleasant young girl showed us to our table,gave us a menu each . Another member of staff came for our order, I started to place my order and was very abruptly told that menu was off. I explained that was the menu given , suddenly the menu was snapped out of my hand and the member was in my face ,stating it said the menu was available until 4.30 pm. I immediately put my hand up to force her back out of my face. No social distance there. I stated that was menu given to me . I was informed the she was manageress and should know. I just wanted to disappear out of this place, but had come out to enjoy ourselves. I politely placed my order, when my meal arrived I noticed a large hair wrapped around my chips, I informed the very rude manageress, who removed the side order, and replaced it later. Wa I received 10% off my bill for the mishap. I will NEVER be back in this restaurant,and I could not recommend it either. I also noticed that the tables were being cleaned with a W5 wipe, that included the chairs and table, I would expect the furniture to be properly cleaned , oweing to the current situation."
