Thought the bar man was very rude but everyone else was nice and polite. Asked for ID and sighed saying he couldn’t read it

Outstanding food and service at reasonable prices. Extended family of 7 visited and we were looked after extremely well by attentive and knowledgeable staff. Food was piping hot, plentiful and tasty. One not to be overlooked.

We had another great meal here on Saturday evening. I wouldn’t normally order a sirloin steak but I did on Saturday it melted in my mouth and it was well done as this is my preference!! The service was quick efficient and all staff were very friendly. Voir le carte

We held a funeral tea here today 25th. Seaneen was so helpful both today and when booking. The food was excellent and the staff all very pleasant. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Seaneen and staff for looking after us so well. It was very much appreciated.

Hadn’t been to play here for about 10 years and I forgot how good the place is. Fantastic big clubhouse with great facilities, and a course that suits varying degrees of ability. Very friendly staff and members as well as a great selection of food on offer. Make sure you are hungry when you order as portions are very generous as well

Lovely setting with a fantastic view. Menu was ample with plenty of choices. Something for everyone. Food arrived quickly and was packed with flavour and was a generous portion but not overdone with I like as I hate food waste. We all got different things from the menu and were served at the same time. Had mains and deserts and sent back empty plates after both courses. Can’t wait to come back. Poorest service I have eve had in a golf club. Staff spent more time talking to each other than looking after the customers. Asked twice for menus and after another 15m wait asked again for someone to take a food order. Was given a price for 4 starters as we now did not have the time to wait any longer and then was charged £7 each for salted chilli and chicken with 5 to 6 bits of chicken on each plate after being quoted £5 each and an extra £2 for the hot pot with mussels. Couldnt leave fast enough. The family opposite were having similar problems trying to get drinks ordered.

Hi went there an had a good time ,but went on a Saturday night with my wife and sister in law for dinner booked in for 7pm ,slight delay in getting table ,given menu promptly and give orders for main course,but after 1 hour and half hours still had not receive them ,by this time on second drink when we were informed that there was a problem with the gas ,and they hope to have the main course coming out soon waited another half hour for it to come best thing I eat that night was the garlic potatoes after finished meal went to pay staff said sorry for the delay ,but show poor customer service by not even offer to compensate us for the delay as took two hours for three main courses,will not be...

Firstl night out after lockdown, my husband and I decided to visit golf club . It used to be one of our favourite places. But have had a couple of disappointing visits. But on Wednesday 12 th Aug. we booked a table . Pleasant young girl showed us to our table,gave us a menu each . Another member of staff came for our order, I started to place my order and was very abruptly told that menu was off. I explained that was the menu given , suddenly the menu was snapped out of my hand and the member was in my face ,stating it said the menu was available until 4.30 pm.
