"Great pub grub at 4pm on a Sunday.. Steaks, scampi... the usual stuff. Family friendly. Good prices and great friendly service by staff who obviously enjoy their job. A refreshing change! The views down the Tyne valley are worth an entry fee. Cant wait to go back."

Pub was very clean. We were served by Donna. Donna was very polite and very chatty when serving she managed to upsell products to us.

We went hoping for Sunday lunch but because of a new menu they were not serving that yesterday. We were not disappointed though with what we did order and will most certainly be back again. Lovely food and staff.

This place is great value as kids meals are currently only £1 with each adult meal which totally helps us having three kids Good food, great pricesand friendly staff Window seats also have cracking view over Tyne

we really enjoyed our meals. everything came hot well presented. I couldn't blame being honest and I'm not so happy, I usually find something too moan. here a meal is recommended, they cannot be removed from the outside of the building.

fantastic pub, eating was nice. so glad to see joanne behind the bar where she belongs. the pub gets better and better on the day, now it's back at the tax. many thanks for a fantastic meal and first class service. tomorrow will be back!

hallo was just in today for breakfast wow was filled we had 2 x ultimate breakfast and ultimate tee and toast, all for 17quid staff were on place and kitchen staff were gone asking if we were more toast back to be thanked davy job well made
