"Booked a table dispite the pub being fairly empty at before 5 we ordered and were warned it would be 45mins for food, no updates where given chased at the hour, told it would be 5 more minutes, 1 hour 25 minute food arrived. Food was nice avoided puddings. Got home to find I’d still been charged a 12.5% service charge. Service was poor with almost to many bar staff on and hanging around near the bar but not behind it. Unfortunately this the second time it’s been very slow, last time put it down to it being a works function and a large group. Lovely location, good food but poor service."

never not been delighted with the food and service and am a regular visitor. Every time has been great. I would recommend this to anyone in the area looking for amazing food at reasonable price. If you're not sure and reading this just GO! 10/10

Spent a night here at The Hawk. A real gem, friendly staff, great food and a very comfortable room. The breakfast selection is excellent and mine was delicious. Highly recommended. I will visit again. Also... excellent motorcycling country roads. Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant is consistently outstanding, particularly the roast dinner that we both ordered. It included a delightful variety of vegetables. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the restaurant had implemented proper safety measures in light of the pandemic. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and attended to by the exceptional staff. The restaurant had all necessary Covid-19 precautions in place, which made us feel safe dining there. The food was outstanding as always, with a great selection to choose from. Despite the current challenges, we had a wonderful time. A big thank you to The Hawk team for making my 2020 birthday celebration so unforgettable.
