"We’ve become big fans of this restaurant and have followed their success over the years. Wonderful flavours, authentically cooked with care. The chicken swadiloo is a lovely mild dish with mango, almond and coconut, our favourite. They’re happy to adapt dishes to your taste as everything is made to order. Really good handmade samosas too. Proper tandoori clay oven flavours on the tikka dishes. I could list everything we love but you’ll just have to order and see for yourselves just how good this restaurant is! Enjoy!"

Great food and service. Some different dishes compared with some other local curry houses. Food arrived in good time after the order was placed.

The best curry in Exeter, and you must try the Momos! The staff is very friendly, and Sham is a welcoming host. If you are in or around Exeter, Gurkha is a must-visit!

This place had great take away food. It was delicious and reasonably priced. We were staying across the road so it was easy to walk and get the food. They had great nan and the servings were huge. Voir le carte

One of the best tasted curries, I have experienced outside of London, we had onion bhaji, chicken Dhansak, mushroom bhaji, garlic/plain Nan. Staff very friendly, service very quick. Highly recommend to all when in Exeter.

This restaurant offers warm, friendly, and clean atmosphere serving Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The food was delicious, the staff was excellent, and the menu was varied. All 7 of us received our meals at the same time and they were piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The Indo-Nepalese cuisine at this restaurant in Exeter is absolutely delicious. We enjoyed both the flavors and the ambiance. It is one of the top choices for dining out with family, friends, or even business associates. Highly recommended, although parking may be a bit of a challenge. Voir le carte

The best Nepalese and Indian food in Exeter by far! The lamb (or veggie) momos are amazing. They’re like steamed gyoza dumplings but with mildly spiced meat and juices that come with a tomato and sesame dip. All home made. Delicious. We eat here often or have their food delivered to us and it’s consistently really good. Lovely people too. Highly recommended!

Wonderful dinner here last night. Had starters and mains and I couldn't fault any of it. The spiced cauliflower and potatoes were so good as was my main. Not expensive for the amount of food you get and a really nice chilled atmosphere. The only criticism I could say was although the service was amazing and they were really attentive they did come over quite often to ensure everything was ok with the dinner but that's not always a bad thing. All in all had a really great experience here and would recommend.

"Owner rude and arrogant! And you can’t trust them and they won’t make your order right by just saying too busy to make it right! I called in to make a booking but told no tables available but I could place an order for takeaway so I ordered two gluten free pizzas. I also asked what size are the gluten free pizza crust and was told 11”. I was told I would need to wait 1 hour 30 minutes and I agreed. I ordered the Gluten free 11 “ crust as advised for one Olive Tree and one Garlicky . When I arrived, I asked the person with the pizzas to confirm the gluten free pizzas. She looked a bit worried and said they were not gluten free. I asked the other girl if I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs and she said they would expedite my pizzas. The owner came over and said he had two vegan pizzas for 8:30 pm and I said that is not what I ordered. He said he was too busy to remake the pizzas. He said the girl that took the order said she didn’t remember gluten free was ordered. As a Celiac , those are the first words out of my mouth when I order any food and I also inquired the size of the gluten free crust and frequently they are pre-made and sealed and I was told they are 11”. He would not remake the pizzas as he said he has to trust his staff. So he implies the customer are lying and uses it as an excuse to not make it right. It doesn’t excuse not remaking the pizzas correctly as ordered gluten free as I was told a few minutes earlier. I assured him I ordered both pizzas gluten free and my wife came in and also confirmed as she heard me place the order on the phone. I realize this pizza must be well done and popular but not to remake the pizzas and imply me a liar and refusing to remake them is unprofessional. I find his behavior arrogant, rude and unprofessional and just because he went to Italy to learn how to make pizza doesn’t make him a good owner and manager. Hopefully, he won’t blow off this review but learn from it. Always make it right for your customers! And never insult your customers! It also suggest he doesn’t care about his customers because he is too busy. He walks away and just repeats he has to trust his employees. Poor excuse for not making the pizzas as ordered! Employees can make mistakes and as a Coeliac I will also double check as I did when I came to pick up the pizzas. I would advise Coeliacs to not try these pizzas as you can’t trust them to make them to your order. Peace be with you! Dietary restrictions You cannot trust this place to make your gluten free as ordered and they won’t remake it if they made it wrong and just say I have to trust my staff. Very Poor attitude from an owner and a bit arrogant! Customers don’t appear to be important and must be lying if they get an order wrong."
