"Great little village pub, homely, welcoming, very friendly and good staff. Car park to rear. Beer garden. Has live music. Home cooked food. Handpulled cask beers were Butcombe Brewing Co's Chris Moose Yuletide Ale, Tiny Rebel's Sleigh Puft Triple Chocolate Nougat Marshmallow Porter, !!! Greene King's Fireside Winter Ale, Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker. I called in on a busy Sunday afternoon pre Christmas and I was sat almost straightaway for a table for a meal without having booked. Now that's good service! Small portions and kids portions available on the menu. Veggie and gluten free options available. The two veggie pie options were Chriscringle: parsnip, Cheddar, chestnut and leek OR Good Elf: tofu turkey, cranberry, port and thyme. I had the Chriscringle pie and it came with veggie gravy, roast potatoes, mash, carrots, broccoli, Yorkshire pudding and parsnips. Christmas cake with brandy sauce for pud. All yummy. Recommended and yep, would revisit, great pub."

a top village pub in the center of riccall, I enjoyed an early evening there with a generously distributed lamb rogan josh curry 2 super pints by gast ale. There are 8 hand pumps for choice, among them in the rule 4 guests, so not only eating is excellent, but the real ale is also fabulous. worthily cask marque accredited and also in the gbg if they are not happy enough to live in riccall, it is definitely worth visiting (the 415 bus stops practically outside.)
