"I went with a friend for lunch on a Saturday- some items were off the menu because the pub was waiting for a delivery. The waitress was lovely but did not know what the specials were. We both ordered the burger which were nice but the food was too big for the board it came on. Please bring back plates. The coleslaw was in a small ramekin and contained two teaspoonfuls. My friend who can only eat diary free food could not have a dessert because there was no cheesecake available. The menus looked dirty as did the outside area. Disappointing."

"Having never visited the plough before we were looking for a pub within easy reach for all our family Service friendly and attentive directly to the table A full standard menu was supplied and specials were listed separately on a board....as it was Sunday our group opted for the Sunday roasts....chicken beef and lam to name a few! Deserts were also listed on the main standard menu with daily specials also listed separately too Lovely afternoon and meal Vegetables were supplied separately on another plate for the table to share Thank you guys for making our afternoon and for serving a delicious meal Credit where credit is due"

"came to this cozy pub/bar for lunch. we had sneaked salmon with to begin, salmon was excellent, beautiful thin slices and a really nice subtle smokey aroma, simply made with fresh lemon, good brot and butter. it is a great part so that they can easily share this court. since I did not share this and ate it all to me, I chose for my main thing a smaller court that was smoked schellock croquettes that came with a slightly healed? I don't know if it was because I had the intensively flavored smoked salmon to start, but the croquettes seemed a little bland after this and in any case the addition of the sosse that came with them. my partner had fish chips, dry crispy chips and many of them, large crispy light broken squids, with big flocks of white fish, plucked, with a small part of what tasted like homemade tartar sauce. nice friendly staff and conductive water and spicy on the table without having to ask for them. really nice lunch here we will return definitiw."

"Went to The Boars Head for Sunday lunch and the whole experience was great. Immediately glad we had booked as pretty much every table was packed. We were seated promptly and from then on the service was attentive and courteous. Food quality was excellent and quantity just right. Various roasts are given centre stage on the Sunday menu but fish dishes and vegetarian options are available, backed up with a good selection of starters, sharing platters and desserts. Wine, beer and soft drinks are varied and well presented. Although not the cheapest place around Horsham, the cost is comparable with other establishments and reflects the quality on offer. Well worth the final bill. In all a fine lunch and afternoon out. Many thanks to the hard working staff."

"One review? Ha! Well here is two. I get why there is only one. This is a hidden gem. You have to be with locals to find it. But, if you are lucky enough to find this charming country pub, you are in store for the perfect English pub experience. This centuries old homestead still oozes that ancient feel. The dishes are not only classic English but also have exciting takes on Korean and Indian fare. I say stick with the local drafts on tap and the classic English dishes. My favorites were the pea and ham soup (If you add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to put it over the top) and the local sausage and mash is on another level. The gravy is to die for!"
