"We went first to the boars head when they had one of their live music acts and it was one of the most magical nights ever. We moved to a house close to the boars head and quickly it became our 2nd home. Not that the food was always delicious and the best to get in horsham and surrounding, but the most important was the staff. Every single member of the boars head is simply amazing. They’re all super kid friendly, our kids could do whatever kids do and no one ever was mad with them. The cocktails are outrageous and Emre kept surprising me with one of his drinks. We did a farewell party there and everything was perfect! Umut and his chefs made the best food and the whole evening was magical! Malcolm, Lisandra, Felix, Emre, Jae, Emily, Angelito, Eddie and all of the other amazing people at the boars head: thank you for always making us feeling like family! You guys always made our stays a happening! To the chef Umut: keep on with your outstanding work, you are excellent! Lots of Love, Isabell, Artem, Freddie and Lilly!"

Had such a good time at last nights Andy and Friends Jazz Night. Wonderful hospitality from the team at The Boars Head, lovely wine and top quality jazz. Will definitely be returning.

We've been to The Boar's Head today with friends. The meal was of very high quality. Excellent staff service, very attentive and nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend the Sunday Roast.

Came in by chance for lunch and really pleased we did. Service was fantastic and all the staff were really friendly and helpful, even made a fuss of our twins. Food was brilliant, we had the set menu which we thought was great value for money. We will definitely be back especially to try the Sunday roast. Voir le carte

Usual pub classics plus some extras that show some great creativity and care. The execution is very good indeed and the food tasted great. I had the Pork tacos and Beef short rib. Both were delicious, although I’d constructively recommend a soft shell taco as opposed to hard shell but this is splitting hairs over a great dish. Lovely service too.

A great pub with a great vibe. Very busy Sunday lunch. After waiting for our table for a short while, the manager apologised showed us to our table. That was the start of a very enjoyable afternoon. The roast meals were top notch plenty of it. Praise must also be given to all the friendly staff, who go that extra mile. We will be back. Thank you all.

Went tonight for a 2 course meal with 3 friends tonight . Arrived to a warm and friendly greeting and the food and hospitality was second to none! I’ve drank in this pub many times but never eaten there and boy have I been missing out! I literally cannot fault it. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. You need to go there! Cannot wait to go back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

My husband and I had not been to The Boars Head for some years. We decided to try it for lunch for my husband’s birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent we chose from their weekday set menu choice of two or three course, which was amazing value. The staff and service were without fault. We sat outside on a lovely terrace with relaxing views of the countryside. Definitely recommend this venue

"My mother and I had been following the Masterchef Pro comp ' last year and were really keen to sample some of the winner, Tom Hamblet 's, food. We travelled a 4 hour round trip for the experience. We don 't eat at fine dining restaurants often but we are foodies. Firstly, the setting of the restaurant is very lavish and comfortable with warm low lighting. That said, the dinner experience was a little too dark for my mother so that 's something to think about if you struggle with eyesight and low lighting. The service was friendly, attentive and speedy/efficient. The food: I 'll start with the dessert because that was a real pleasure for us. We both loved the flavours of Tom 's end of series winning dessert so the meal ended on a high (we ordered the Olive Oil sponge with lemon curd). I recommend not ruining your palette with the overly sweet petit four that are placed in front of you following dessert unfortunately ours were more sugar flavoured than any other identifiable flavour. Our starters and mains were very VERY underwhelming. They arrived looking beautiful, neat and tidy but failed to deliver on taste. I had wanted the celeriac themed starter but the waiting staff told me the vegan/veggie starters and mains were created by their head chef and not Tom. That was disappointing as his 3 month residency was the reason we 'd visited the restaurant. We ended up both having the lobster starters after the waiting staff recommended it highly as either a starter or an additional dish to share. The claw meat was minimal and tough and the foam mousse took centre stage on the plate. Whilst the plate had lots of textures to it, we felt it was unbalanced and generally with no 'wow ' to it. We enjoyed the coffee and rye bread with butter and pollen/fennel that came prior to this thought. I ordered the Guinea Fowl as a main after the waiter described it as a gamey, dark and tender meat. I feel like a better description to someone that hasn 't had guinea fowl before would be 'it 's like a chicken breast with a different flavour '. This is what arrived in front of me and I actually found it was quite dry and not dark at all! I would never have ordered anything that resembled chicken breast anyway so I felt ill informed about my choice. I also thought the girolles were overwhelmingly tart. I didn 't enjoy my main. Mum 's Hogget was nice but average for her too. Last comment I 've never in my life paid £6.50 for less than 1.5ltrs mineral water beware! I don 't care how much money you have it 's water!!!"
