"Looking forward to a Chinese meal we thought being on holiday we would try the nearest to us as it was walking disance for a Take Away. On entering the feeling is of a grubby waiting room. The man behind the counter was pleasant and...chatty. Food was ready in 5 minutes. Back within 5 minutes we tucked into the Satay skewered chicken. The sauce was pleasant but the chicken was hard on the outside and very dry on the inside making it difficult to get through. Onto the Duck and mushrooms. The duck was very fatty and chewy and the sauce was like glue and not very pleasant. On to the Beef and Tomatoes. The Beef texture was OK but had no taste the vegtables and Tomatoes were ok. But again the sauce was like glue and not very pleasant. On a better note the fried rice was OK, it was very brown which is unusual but nice texture and flavour. Unfortunately we binned more than we ate. We are regular eaters of Takeaway Chinese Food and this was definitely in the worst 30% I have eaten. Would not use again. Perhaps we were unlucky."

We have never had a bad meal, its always hot, tasty and beautiful. Its always a wait for collection, but no big deal as its always delicious and well worth the wait

first class food and service nothing more to be said ten out of ten always consistenly good food.chicken balls in batter very good barbecue sauce and spare ribs fantastic,salt and pepper chips spot on

The food as always was first class but waiting over 2 hours for a delivery that you were told would be 1hr 10 mins is unacceptable. This is the second time we have had this issue. Suggest you collect on person. Voir le carte

Went to Golden Wok off recommendation and the 5* reviews. The food wasn't great at all, the ribs where over cooked, the chicken rubbery and the rice wasn't cooked properly and tasted as though it had been reheated. All went in the bin and was...a waste of £30 I would not recommend

normal as this place but if I ask for sweet and sour chicken canton style, I expect chicken in break with ananas with sweet and acidic source, as I have ordered hundreds of time from countless restaurants in Great Britain not something completely different and. then I say that I have ordered the wrong court and no excuse

You will not find another Chinese in the area like it ,the food is amazing and so are the staff It gets really busy so you have to ring ring ring It sometimes has a long wait but honestly it doesn't matter the food is...delicious Prawn and ginger fab and the prawns are so big and lots of them So worth trying ,you will not be disappointed Voir le carte

We visited a restaurant on the first night of our holiday in Fowey. We placed our order over the phone and were informed that the delivery would take about an hour due to it being a busy Friday evening. The food arrived as expected, and it was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered from them again a week later for a takeaway. This time, they were even busier and told us the delivery would be about two hours. Two hours later, the food arrived and it was excellent once again. Highly recommended.

I called ahead to place an order and was told to pick it up in 30 minutes. They were hesitant to take my payment over the phone. I mentioned that we had to wait an additional 10 minutes, and when I inquired, I was informed that the food was freshly cooked. Unfortunately, they did not have the dish I usually order, which is chicken with mushrooms and carrots. This was a deviation from the typical Chinese cuisine I am accustomed to. While the service was not terrible, I found the lack of transparency regarding payment options to be off-putting. I will not be returning to this restaurant or recommending it for takeout.
