Can't visit London without finding the best fish n chips ever Fried but not greasy (how do they do that!).

This is a lovely neighbourhood place with amazing fresh fish. Nice, simple menu and friendly staff. I dined solo and will definitely come back.

Excellent fish, chips and mushy peas perfection. Service was friendly, quick and professional, the restaurant was very busy so ambience noisy but okay. (Wee bit pricey now but probably to be expected these days). Definitely revisit !

The best fish and chips ever. I went there in 2012 for the first time since my son raves about it when he was studying for his masters in London and each time I back I go again. The ownership has changed to next generation and new owner has upgraded to make this restaurant even better!

I haven’t been to the Golden Hind for a couple of years. It’s still great fish and chips. The menu is much larger, so it’s not quite the local chippy anymore. However, my vegetarian friend loved the non-fish menu and had the deep fried mozzarella. The prices have increased a lot, but fish is more expensive everywhere. Service was friendly and helpful.
