"in recent years I have written a series of 5 star reviews about the punjabi tadka, as the quality of all food was exceptionally good. last night I have made my first delivery order since ende januar 2022 and was very disappointed by food quality. I will give feedback to any item in my delivery so that the owner will address what a problem with the kitchen staff or cook 1) poppadoms x 2: perfect as always 2) pink pakora sauce x2: thine runny submissive tasteless sauce. probably diluted with milk 3) chicken pakora x 2. bland coated deep fried chicken. no flavor of seasoned or cumin 4) huh bhuna x1. excessively spicy, sauce too thick and under seasoned with distinct lack of a hair 5) chicken chasni x 1. sauce was thin, much too sour, not sweet enough and under seasoned with distinct lack of han at the owners of the restaurant. the reason why they are recognized as the best Indian restaurant in east kilbride and probably the best in south lanarkshire is that they have been cooking high-quality, tasty food for years. I have written them so many 5 star reviews about the years because I realized that their team perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned foods with the best seasoned, crumble and spicy to create. inappropriate, last night meal not the 5 stars quality I have come to expect. if you want to keep their local legendary status, I suggest that you check my feedback about eating yesterday evening and have a word with whoever is their new cook, as they don't give out good food. we hope that my next order meets the 5 stars standard that I expected in the years that I am a loyal customer."

"Don’t know what’s happened to Zucca but it’s not the restaurant it used to be. Sat next to the bar where the waitress was clattering everything about, doesn’t make for a relaxing evening. When you charge £34 for a fillet steak you would expect it to be top notch but instead it was chewy and not a good cut of beef. Truffle and Parmesan fries had to ask for Parmesan to sprinkle over them!! Arrabbiata was passable but have had better elsewhere. Deserts cheesecake, couldn’t get the spoon through the base, described as vanilla and honeycomb flavour but tasteless, really poor. Pineapple carpaccio with the panna cotta should be thin not chunks, think they desperately need a pastry chef. Staff disengaged! Overpriced mediocrity!"

"I used to think of this place as the best Indian in East kilbride we get Christmas Dinner every year from them and order at least once ever few months, but I will not be ordering again. Over the last year they have massively went down hill the korma sauce is literally like water now with hardly any taste and the sweet nans are terrible can't even call it a sweet nan anymore as there is basically no filling. It's a shame it has went so badly but unfortunately will not be ordering again as are other Indians in East kilbride that are better than it. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Been going here for years now and had some great meals. However last visit we were hurt and disappointed in service and meal as regular diners. Phoned to book and ensured we were getting normal lunch menu. As reason we were meeting up was not a celebration, far from it tbh. Yet when we got there were told no, only allowed Christmas lunch or go a la Carte. Obviously more expensive, we said but we booked normal lunch for our guests. Got nowhere and felt quite upset and unhappy with treatment as older gent who served us seemed quite irrate and we all had difficulty in understanding his statements. Our guests did not enjoy their meal and left much of it. Portions were very small and not well presented on this occasion. It proved to be very expensive and as Christmas menu wasn’t usual dishes we ordered had to be a la carte. At no point were we asked if we enjoyed our meal as we would have said no as quite frankly it was not their usual standard. Did think they would have noticed meal wasn’t enjoyed as quite a lot left. Obviously they didn’t care either about customer satisfaction or culinary enjoyment. Really much more than disappointed in you Mata Hari we expected better. Regret taking guests there and will never recommend or patronise you again. Poor show."

"We really enjoyed our meal here as 1st timers. The manager found us seats on a busy Saturday afternoon within 5 minutes. I really liled the decor as it was modern and of a good quality finish. The green velour bench was quite nice. Our mussel starter with sourdough had nice big shells but I wasnt 100% in favour of the scent of the sauce. Tasted fine though and we both ate them all. My wifes main of seabass and potatoes with chorizo was delicious and my Chicken Millanese was tender and the pasta was just still aldente. Not enough chilli in the sauce to taste it. I reccommend this restaurant for quality authentic itallian good at reasonable prices with great service."
