"Once a year, my friends and I come to this restaurant and we were very disappointed this time. The food was served cold, undercooked, or raw. We waited 40 minutes for someone to take our orders, and then an additional 90 minutes for our main courses to arrive. After complaining, we were given a 20% discount, although I think the food should have been free. We were not the only table to experience these issues, as we noticed at least 3 other tables around us also had complaints. It's a shame to have this experience at such a nice pub, as we have never had this problem here before."

We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant, however, the service was quite slow. Fortunately, we were not in a rush and didn't mind waiting. It seemed like there was not enough staff working at the time.

A pretty good Sunday lunch at the Fox. The place was busy and very suited to families. Service was quick and efficient. Overall reasonably good value for money. Would not rush back but would not avoid either.

It's a good all-round local pub. It was the busiest we had ever experienced during recent visits, so we had to wait longer than we had hoped for our food and drinks. When the food arrived it was not very hot, but we decided not to complain or send it back. We always enjoy coming here as we know what we are going to get. Once a year catch up with friends very disappointed. Food was cold, over cooked or raw. Not a good dining experience. 40 minute wait for someone to take orders 90 minute wait for main courses. We did complain and were given a 20% discount. In fact I think the food should have been free. We weren’t the only table complaining we noticed 3 others immediately around us. Such a shame as never had this experience here before and it’s such a nice pub.

This local pub is a solid choice for a meal out. During our recent visit, it was busier than ever, resulting in longer wait times for our food and drinks. Unfortunately, when our meals arrived, they were not as hot as we would have liked. Despite this, we chose not to complain or send them back. We continue to frequent this pub because we know what to expect. The Hunters Chicken is a favorite among the men in our group, and two of us ordered the Duo of Lamb.
