"Hi, I just wanted to inform you that as regular visitors to the Dales, we always make a point to visit the Fountaine Inn and typically enjoy our meals. However, on our recent visit on the 10th of October at 7:15, my husband was disappointed with his Burrata Salad priced at £16.95. There was no dressing on the salad, despite him informing the waiters twice that it was bland. Nothing was done to address this issue. However, the other meals we had were satisfactory. Overall, we rate the rooms a 5, service a 3, and location a 5. The hotel is also kid-friendly. -J H Johnstone"

I recently had dinner at The Fountain and I must say, the food and service were excellent! The special menu options were all tempting and the regular menu had great choices as well. The atmosphere was friendly, the beer was fantastic, and the location couldn't be beat. I highly recommend this restaurant!

if they eat in beautiful walks of land, followed by a hearty house made, then this is the place for them. the menu was not massive, but I understand that they were a boil down, we were all gone for the fish Friday deal anyway fish and chips £7.49 before 18 clock. we were not disappointed! the service was good and the staff was nice. highly recommended

I had the F-belt with blue cheese and it was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the cold bark sandwich, which was also very good. We ate in the bar where our dog was allowed, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were all helpful and friendly, just like the locals. Overall, the portions were generous and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing location, incredibly friendly staff. The food is fantastic and the restaurant is perfectly situated next to a cozy fireplace. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. There are plenty of nearby activities to explore in Grassington and Burnsall. The menu has a wide selection and offers good value. The rooms are comfortable and the service is top-notch. The hotel has great views and is ideal for a romantic and quiet getaway. Overall, it is a fantastic value.

My family and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening, ranging in age from 3 to 73 years old. Everyone had a great time, admired the atmosphere, and enjoyed the food. We were pleasantly surprised to find some delicious vegan options available (not listed on the main menu), which meant our two plant-eating members were well taken care of. While we would have been content with a vegan burger, they had actual meals to choose from. The vegan hut cake was especially tasty.
