"Hello our stay here from start to finish was lovely, warm greeting, very warm and pleasant, the rooms are lovely, well furnished to high standard. The evening meals are 5 star, and breakfast the same. Staff very helpful and friendly. On site spa and pool was easy to book and use and very relaxing. Covid procedures were to a high level which was comforting. Only one thing which we feel could enhance your stay, the reception area has an area which chairs and takes to reside and relax, on a night it would of been nice to get a seat before or after out meals, and generally no space, because it's a lovely area. If they could expand some how on a relaxing area would be beneficial. May I also thank staff for hoping me with a flower delivery and a bottle of bubbly I'd brought for our 30th wedding anniversary, as a surprise to surprise to my wife, fantastic. Many thanks"

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Everyone, including the kids, enjoyed their experience at this restaurant. It is very accommodating for children and follows strict COVID-19 safety measures. Thank you.

we were in the lodge when we visited a funeral. stu went beyond and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. we had both taken nights, eating was delicious, very generous portions and delivered to the door. perfect host. many thanks to x

Fab meal tonight especially the Scallops starter. Daughter and I especially loved the treacle tart with gingerbread base with homemade ginger ice cream. Has been few years since visited .. just what we needed after walking in Burnsall . Fab service Well managed , tables well separated Staff lovely

absolutely beautiful stay here about 2 nights. room nice with a really comfortable bed. the meals were absolutely beautiful, especially the lamb henry. breakfast was nice and nothing too much annoyed. they need to ask if their room is to be maintained, but that is not a problem. would definitely recommend.

We decided to take my Mum out for her 70th birthday and opted for the alternative afternoon tea at the Gamekeepers Inn after reading some positive comments and reviews. We were truly impressed with our experience. The savory selection included mini fish and chips, steak pie, chicken burger, beef Yorkshire pudding, and a sausage roll (which we brought home). The sweet selection consisted of fruit scone, jam, clotted cream, shortbread biscuit, cookie, Rocky road, brownie chocolates, and truffles - most of which we also brought home. We highly recommend the Gamekeepers Inn to everyone. The staff was fantastic, polite, and very attentive. We will definitely be returning.
