Thank you for a wonderful evening celebrating our Mum/Nan’s 90th birthday! The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was delicious and served promptly. The entire experience made her birthday truly special. We appreciate everything!

Every time I dine here, the experience is fantastic, and the portions are quite generous. It offers excellent value for money, and overall, it's a really nice pub. I found the service excellent and friendly but the pub seems to be quite tired. The quality of the food was ok but could have done it better at home. Didn't have a good selection of alcohol free beers just Lager. Parking: Small for the size of the pub Kid-friendliness: On the day I visited the staff were very attentive and friendly. I had a lovely night at the Fisherman tonight, the food was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. A special shoutout to Linda, who served us throughout the night, was incredibly attentive to our needs and was very patient with our large group! Definitely worth a second visit. Parking: Decent free parking, but can get difficult to find spaces when particularly busy, so worth arriving early. Price per person: £20–30

Regardless of whether they have a reservation 9 times out of 10, they'll still find you a table. The service is quick, the menu is outstanding, and the food is served hot and full of flavor. They particularly enjoy the charming covered conservatory, though they haven't had the chance to dine in the garden yet—it also looks lovely, complete with sun umbrellas and shaded spots.
