"I have been a regular at Canvas cafe and I have nothing but praise for their service and food. One of the standout features of this cafe is their willingness to constantly update their menu with exciting new additions and evolve with their offerings. I have enjoyed a variety of incredibly tasty meals, from their divine hot chocolate to their supremely delicious cakes. I even tried their vegan fish and chips, which were amazing. In addition to their fantastic food, Canvas cafe is also a community-focused restaurant that does valuable outreach work. It is definitely my top choice whenever I am in east London."

It breaks my heart to give this restaurant a 1/5, because some of the service was so sincere.

To start we only came here because the guy in front made it sound like a very family atmospheric restaurant with great food.

Brick is awash with curry restaurants and there seems to be no measure of quality and is a continuous dialogue from the restaurant workers offering you

Stumbled across this little gem while visiting Brick Lane. Very friendly. Fantastic coffee and Victoria sponge. The brownie looked good that my daughter had. Voir le carte

Was so happy to have found this lil’ gem! It’s hard to find a Vegan cafe that ticks all the boxes but this place does it for me! Great coffee, sweet treats wholesome meals. Also love all the sustainable options and community support this place offers. Definitely give them a visit :

Stumbled across this little vegan gem whilst in search of a quick bite. Warm, cosy yet a modern feel to the venue. Staff were absolutely lovely! Had the roasted veg sandwich on sourdough- well this was the best vegan pesto I’ve ever had. Wholesome and delicious. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back!

As a of friends we visited this cafe for a yoga session and a meal. It is a not for profit venture and all monies raised goes to help the homeless. The yoga session was excellent and the meal was the best vegan food I have eaten. Spicy jackfruit in a bun and chips. The others has a vegan breakfast, tofu and a roast vegetable sandwich. The sourdough was delicious. Wonderful and in a very good cause. Please support this venture. Voir le carte

When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and one of the toast slices was burnt. The service did not go above and beyond to make up for the mishaps. Additionally, the ambience was lacking with a side door constantly open, letting in cold air, and off-duty staff members moving furniture and leaving the counter unattended. Overall, the experience was subpar, especially considering the price point and the abundance of other dining options in the area. We are unlikely to return in the near future.

We spotted this cafe whilst in the area and decided to head there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Excited to see pancakes and blueberries were a weekend only option, we ordered these and some coffees. They were the best pancakes we have ever had! Absolutely gorgeous, great big stack with some filled with blueberries, others topped with blueberry jam, maple syrup and a massive scoop of incredible ice cream. DELICIOUS! Coffee was great and the fact it was all vegan and for a good cause, even better! Great value too, and as a non-vegan myself, I highly recommend giving it a try!
