"this restaurant has long been on my wish list. as Indian and Nepalese cuisine lovers, I have tried almost all kinds of restaurants in edinburgh for this type of kitchen, except that which was closed during its normal working time without saying when it opens the customers again. fortunately, it finally opens again on Saturday afternoon when my sister passed it and noticed. So we decided to eat in the everest right away. / let us go directly with food first. we ordered chicken mama, vegetable corma and mushroom bhaji with simple naan. served as an appetizer after about ten minutes. it was freshly prepared with homemade tasty sauce and tiny ambalate. two of five knödeln seem to have been exposed to fragile pastries with fillings. Nevertheless, the noodles had solid fillings, but honestly we didn't taste a bun in the fillings. in comparison to momo was his beside sauce much more beautiful and tasty. its taste is like homemade, fresh and not hot with coriander on it. / soon we finished our momo, hoping that the waiter can quickly serve the main dishes. it took about ten minutes to find waiter in the restaurant, since at that time no one was on the desk. to the luck, a young man with a nice smile noticed that we finished the starter and came to give us warm big teller for our upcoming main dishes. soon the main dishes after the hot plate were placed on our table to keep curry aromatic and hot. I personally think that the offer of hot teller is very careful because many Indian restaurants have good curries, but they soon become too cold, so the taste deteriorates once curries become cold. / mix them sweet corma is absolutely amazing with generous portion and desicated cocosnuss. it is not creamy, in contrast to traditional creamy corma in some Indian restaurants. I personally think it is one of the best two corma in edinburgh (the other is namaste kathmandu.) the mushroom bhaji is also great and tasty. both main dishes are mild, which are good for us as a spicy intolerant people. yet simple naan relatiw was not very impressive. they were hard to cut and crispy. I am not sure whether they are overcooked by tandoori./ the menu includes a lot of choice options, including traditional Indian and Nepalese dishes. So you're all trying. the everest restaurant has a good job overall for both its service and for its eating. the chef knows exactly what he cooks and culture this kitchen. there were also many customers after we came to the restaurant that were usually regular customers. the young waiter who told us that he worked in the restaurant had particularly good service quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant to Indian and Nepalese cuisine lovers and in any case try other dishes next time."

the staff was very friendly and the service was fast and good. they were also very courteous when I had asked to have one of their signature sauces on the side of my chicken tikka so I could taste it. overall a good experience and we would certainly return

amazingly eat and really good value! the only reason why it has lost a star is that we have booked for 8 o'clock and we sit fast, but we had to wait 20 minutes to be asked if we want to order a drink or eat. our food arrived at 9 o'clock, so it was quite long waiting.

eating from here is absolutely amazing! so fresh, delicious generous portions. I mean, look at the size of their Tandoori queens that screams for a start! I thought the agraah was good from where I came from, but she'll drop her king! there were so many, ars nom nom nom my other half asked me if he should leave the room! haha! in serious, but it was the best Indian meal I ever had! no complain. the cheese garlic nans was oozing with filling. a beautiful surprise, like other restaurants let them ask themselves if they have forgotten to attract them. I count the days we are in edinburgh. in the meantime, please, open a restaurant in yorkshire. preferably doncaster where I live, I swear they do...
