Crispy beef salad and chicken burger was delicious, great sitting outside, looking forward to trying more of the impressive menu!

Delicious food, but the portion size of the mains too small for an adult, not sure why considering the price. So consider a starter and/or side. Slow service, we gave up on desert unfortunately, (understaffed? 10 percent service charge is on the receipt, automatically added, so just be aware on that one. Voir le carte

I don’t tend to leave reviews but I feel compelled to, as the food was absolutely exquisite. I have been here multiple times now and every time is an amazing experience. We’re so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes’ drive away. The food is stunning (with big portion sizes) and great service. Indoors is quite spacious, a beautiful outdoor seating area for when the weather gets hot and plenty of parking spaces right next to the pub. All round this place is elegant with an awesome vibe!

First time visitors to The Duke at Sunninghill and were pleased with our choice. Service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. The non drivers liked their wine choice. For myself as driver our server put care and attention into making very enjoyable soft drinks and a fresh mint tea. It was great to try a selection of the small plates, the chicken confit bon bons being my favourite. Our daughter enjoyed her steak which was a nice option on a children’s menu. My Wife and my Mother both enjoyed their risotto with chicken. The signature apple pie was tasty too for dessert. Parking was great also. Would recommend and would return.

Wow!! I met up with a few friends here and I will definitely be returning. We arranged to come for a couple of drinks but ended up eating too as the food leaving the kitchen looked sensational. High praise for the kitchen team as our meals (skewers, squid, halloumi fries, burger, chicken burger and loaded fries) were awesome! The front of house team couldn't be faulted either-Happy, attentive and smiling people always adds to the experience. Ella and Paul (I think that's what their names were) made us feel Very welcome and nothing we asked was too much trouble. The owner definitely has a great team running their business. What a find! We came after reading the reviews. Initially on first impression it’s just a local pub and we thought maybe not a destination for a meal, but we was so wrong ! Greeted by happy friendly staff, our waitress was really lovely, happy and so friendly. The menu has a good choice, we all found it easy to choose. Starters were great, we all chose different and all thoroughly enjoyed our choices and they came up piping hot! Mains were equally good with lovely rich flavours, again we all really enjoyed our mains, hot plates and hot food. Sadly to full for deserts. Good wine menu too ! Well done The Duke, we’re be back. We’re always looking for a place that we can meet as family.

Actually very disappointed. Having read all the glowing trip advisor reviews we booked to eat here. I know now why there are no negative/honest reviews it’s because you stand a chance to win a crate of Prosecco (I definitely won’t win! The pub is very cramped with a small car park. Street parking is very limited. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is typical pub food which we have had before at other chains, and have had better. The Mediterranean platter had one chicken kebab between 2, the humus and tazikki were in the same ramekin , there were carrots! With aubergines (when did carrots become Mediterranean? there were no salad or veg with our mains both burger chicken and be...
