"Called in on my own as the pub down the road that I walked to was closed. What a little gem. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough. Had a beef roast, which was great. This is nothing against the pub but to the customers who go, I was quietly sat outside until a large Australian family arrived with kids. Please remember this is a restaurant, not a playground. Allowing your children to scream and run riot outside is not a great experience for other guests. I will definitely be back to this pub and highly recommend."

Delicious Sunday lunch with friends (and 2 dogs). Made to feel very welcome and looked after. Every dish was perfect, and we are all very critical! Thank you for your hospitality and amazing food. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. We had never been before. The food was delicious and clearly homemade. The service was great, very attentive. I would definitely recommend it.

My partner and I visited this restaurant for a date night. We enjoyed a delicious meal and wine. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was pleasant. It is a charming local pub that we will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Booked for Sunday lunch online. Booking experience was easy for 2pm on Sunday. A good size car park made parking easy. A warm welcome from the staff followed by a lovely roast dinner. Although not on the menu we were offered half roast beef and half roast pork. Good size portions with lots of veg. Puddings were excellent also. Staff really nice and friendly. Great experience.

Visited The Duke for Sunday lunch yesterday. Everything was delicious. We had two slow roasted pork belly and one roast beef. No one was disappointed. The roast potatoes were fabulous and better than I could have made at home. Roasties often don’t match up to expectations when eating out, but these were excellent. We will most certainly be visiting again. The service was also great, as were the puds!

From the moment we arrived we felt we were very welcome. We started out in the very comfortable beer garden before coming inside to a lovely interior. Things only got better as the food we were served was fantastic. The Mac and Cheese Croquettes were a great starter but the start was definitely the Chicken Supreme which had an amazing chicken jus. Lovely surroundings, amazing food and fantastic staff, what more could you ask for.
