"A good pub setting but was let down by the service and quality of the food. We arrived within the 15 minute period to be told we were late and couldnt have a table in the restaurant and had to sit in the bar (we were on time, the clock the staff member was looking at was 15 minutes fast). Then it took around an hour for the food to arrive after ordering and when it did the fish batter was very hard and the kids burger tasted like lamb and mint and not beef. When we raised the issues they were not interested."

The only problem I have at the Albert is that radiators are never on whenever I have been. Having said that on Sunday they were so low then turned off. I was so cold. Voir le carte

The pulled pork nachos and halloumi fries at this restaurant are fantastic. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Disappointed with the roast dinner that always used to be good. Roast potatoes were not very good. It seemed liked they had been re heated in a chip pan, and one was totally black. Parsnip was big soft and soggy. The plate was swimming in gravy.far too much. This would be better in a jug.
