My friend and I tried the new breakfast menu at this beautiful restaurant and we were very impressed. The crispy hash brown waffle, Stornaway black pudding, and perfectly runny egg were all delicious and affordable. We highly recommend it.

a hidden gem next to the know channel near hungerford. a real British pub with great personal and warm welcome! we were a party of eight on a local weekend away and fancied a fast drink and light bite. the menu has been varied, with local traditional foods and our meals were good, very efficient and especially served with a smile! nothing was too much annoyed, a very accommodating cook and great team spirit. very pleasant experience, would highly recommend! thank you. We noticed this pub as we parked nearby before we went on the canal/common walk and decided that's where we would visit after our walk. We were not disappointed! We didn't really want a full meal as we were staying in a hotel which provided...full meals. Friendly staff provided tasty chips and good beer. Chatty local regulars in the pub made us feel welcome and most importantly this pub had CLEAN TOILETS!! If we visit the area again we will definitely try a proper meal.

A hidden gem next to the Kennet canal near to Hungerford.A really genuine British pub with great staff and a very warm welcome! We were a party of eight on a local weekend away and and fancied a quick drink and light bite at lunch time. The menu was varied, with locally sourced traditional food and our meals were good, served very efficiently and most of all with a smile!
