Can’t find fault!!! We have had a lovely meal here today. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were very attentive.

Came here for dinner and it was fairly decent. Huge portions so glad we did not order any starters. Hubby ordered the dirty burger whilst I had the beef lasagna. Both good and tasty. My drawbridge spritz cocktail was just perfect. Good restaurant in a cold night. Voir le carte

We were driving back from holiday and Ventured into this pub!!! We had the 3 meats served in a large tray with onion rings and large cooked triple-chips!!! I had a delicious burger! It was outstanding and great value for money. We washed it down with a wine and a small beer! Lovely staff.

I wasn't planning to go there but I would definitely plan to come back! Wasn't sure what to expect as the last time I was on the premises was probably about 1988. Safe to say it's changed a lot (except for the Dirty Bottles of course). The menu is extensive. The food is excellent quality. Generous servings. The chunky chips are totally amazing! The service is good.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. It was surprisingly busy even on a Tuesday afternoon, which speaks volumes. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the burger, while my partner had the jacket potatoes which were cooked perfectly with generous fillings. We will definitely return next year when we are in the area again. The menu at this restaurant is fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of vegetarian dishes, which can be hard to come by. We particularly enjoyed the veggie sausage 'dog' and the baked cauliflower dish, both of which were delicious. The restaurant tends to get quite crowded, so making a reservation is vital. We can't wait to come back again in the future.

This was one of my favourite restaurants. However, when I returned for a birthday meal this month I was really disappointed to find that they have stopped serving the vegan miso cauliflower. The only vegan main options were a Thai curry or two burgers. I settled on a burger but unfortunately it was quite average and at £12.50 for quite a small portion I didn't feel it was value for money. The Sunday dinner looked amazing and portions were huge but unfortunately there was no vegan option.

We made a reservation online a couple of days in advance and I ordered the tomahawk steak. Communication was excellent, and Nathalie made sure we were informed about the price of the steak. Our reservation was for 5.15 (the only available slot), but I stopped by earlier in the day to see if we could push it back a bit. Dan was very accommodating and managed to adjust our reservation time, so a big thank you to him. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. My steak came with a variety of sides including chunky chips, sweetcorn on the cob, tomatoes on the vine, a salad, and a peppercorn sauce, all served on a tray!
