The Dining Room - Carte

We met some friends at Buxted Park Hotel where we were having lunch in The Dining Room. The restaurant is inthe middle of the hotel so there are none of the beautiful East Sussex views but the food more than made up for this. We ate suserb duck liver pate followed by chickken in a delicious sauce and an amazing lemon pie.

while we celebrate a birthday, we decided to lunch for the buxted park. what a jewel, this charming hotel has to offer. the private eating was fabulous and the atmosphere and service were first class and how to eat and the huge wine list, simply stunning. all for a fabulous occasion. happy to recommend and we will definitely be back!

We chose Buxted Park for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday, and what a fantastic find it was! The private dining experience was superb, the atmosphere and service were top-notch, and the food and extensive wine selection were absolutely amazing. We have dined at the Buxted Park Hotel before but this is our first booking there through Top Table. We dined off the Sussex Menu at 3 courses for £32. This more than doubles per head with drinks and service but made for an excellent evening. The ambiance is gentle and elegant and all the menu items served to us were very good. We will return adn our guests on their first visit were impressed.

went for a high-time lunch and had a brilliant time. from a step foot in the hotel the staff were amazing, especially the general manager, the second career as the next I am sure. great venue, fantastic eating, amazing friendly and really helpful staff. great value and wonderful to finish the meal dive wee before a roaring fire. many thanks for a relaxed, unattended afternoon in a beautiful place, we will be back!

The Dining Room Buxted Park Hotel: I went for the Sussex menu and the wife went for the Buxted menu. My starter of lobster and john dory was tasty but not exceptional. My wife had a smoked chicken terrine with fois gras which she was very happy with. The rack of lamb was exceptional and the wife's steak was beautifully cooked also. The desserts were good. We had a lovely time in the Dining Room in the Buxted Park Hotel. Every waiter was really kind. First we sat down in the bar, to drink a refreshing cocktail, and we got some special snacks to accompany our drinks. We tried the three curse Buxted menu, every dish was really nice, only the best ingredients used. Everyone got a special appetizer, mushrooms, with cream and tarragon jelly complementary freshly made rolls and butter. We really recommend the place for special occasions,

what a fantastic and unforgettable evening. we celebrated our 2nd high season and chose to stay locally instead of traveling to london, which is our usual venue. we were so happy with the decision. the food was excellent and the service was perfect. we were welcomed and sitting in the bar and also visited by very friendly and professional staff. we ordered from the bar before we stick to our table in the dining room. the table has been enclosed with a circular, high back seat that offered a truly romantic and intimate experience. the waiter and the manager were very attentive, but not intrusive. eating was amazingly in generous portions. we were very well looked after and will definitely be...
