"we stumbled over this cozy pub while we make a walk around the ashley hill forest. it is recently opened (5th aug ‘22) and seems to have been clogged with new decking outside and many sunshade covered benches. the food menu was limited as it was the opening weekend, but for a quick, tasty lunch and a post-walker pint to the place. bar area small, but a good selection of drinks in the offer. the house made cake looked amazing (not rehearsal at this occasion). personal and local all very friendly and welcoming. the dog enjoyed the free dog biscuits and plentiful water bowls around! will be an eye on how the menu develops and will definitely return."

Beautiful little family pub in Hurley, fantastic food and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend a visit here for food and drinks.

I had dinner here on Saturday night, and the restaurant has been beautifully renovated. The sea bass was the best dish I've had in years; it was incredibly delicious.

great place. they need to book when they want to sit and eat, but much outdoor they can use with out booking. big walks for the dogs along the Berkshire loop. also for rides. very friendly staff.

For the last 20 odd years I 've wanted this place to do well, so was really pleased to see the refurb and huge improvements outside, but they need to now concentrate on the food or the 'new ' enthusiasm will drop off.

Lovely staff who gave a warm welcome. One member of our party is both gluten free vegetarian but they went out of their way to produce an excellent meal. Could not fault quality of food. Would definitely recommend this pub.

Great potential... food very disappointing. I had the chicken burger which was a fried bit of chicken with lettuce...no sauce!! Other half ploughman's not bad but bread was a frozen baguette heated up. If you are in the sticks in my opinion food has to be good and fresh....

The restaurant has outdoor service for dogs through a window, which is nice. However, the place feels a bit too upscale for snacks like crisps and peanuts. They do offer a great selection of beers, and the staff are very friendly. It would be nice to have something simple like soup or hot potatoes for those of us dining in the garden. Overall, I’d give the service a 5.

The drive to the Drewdrop is special...the avenue of trees is beautiful. It has a lovely ambience, friendly staff, and the large portions of fish and chips look and smell amazing xx Dog friendly, it does slight the unruly partner stuck there longer than he/she should be there (see pic), but all in good fun. The local beer is awesome, I would definitely recommend this little gem of a pub.

"We live in Marlow and have been to Sindhu a number of times, and previously enjoyed it. Not this time the food was good (not great) but the service was appalling. Way too rushed and unprofessional. We arrived at Sindhu around 7:45pm, expecting to have a pre dinner drink at the table. No chance! The first thing we were offered were popadums, then they took our drinks order. We opted for the wine pairing to go with the tasting menu. The total bill for two came to £325, but as this was our first night out together in months we were happy to pay this for a long evening with good food and drink. The first course came before we had finished the popadums, but it seemed to speed up from there. Th courses were small, but we were expecting that, but what we weren’t expecting was to be given the next course as soon as the previous one finished. Each wine was brought over with a very unenthusiastic rushed explanation of what it was. At one point we asked the waitress if we could delay the main course to give us chance to breathe between courses. She didn’t really understand what we were asking and stated that we had a palate cleaner before the main course. Which arrived immediately. Our meal was done by 9:45, 7 courses plus popadums all served in two hours, 15 minutes to eat a course and drink a glass of wine. We were the last table in the restaurant (there were only 6 tables altogether on a Friday night). When we left, the waiter already had his hoody on ready to leave, emphasising that the staff were just wanting to leave. At it was only 10pm! We won’t be returning. No way should this be considered Michelin starred food."
