"Been eating in and out from Merchants for decades. Basically the best chipshop. But went in Saturday and after repeating my order several times to the lad behind the counter in a empty shop. I found myself wating in a full shop 15 minutes later questioning why every one else had been an gone with the same food as we had ordered, his attitude and body language really let's your buisness down. Apparently we disrespected him. Standard reply from today's third rate snowflakes. Unacceptable and very disappointing. The only criticism I have had from your shop in over 30 years."

Normally had special deal about £6 Mini fish n chips C* sauce NO FISH AVAILABLE.. Drove miles as well A bit annoyed....

This is simply my favourite fish and chip shop in the area by far. The food is always fresh and delicious too. It’s the reason it gets extremely busy all year round. Good prices and it’s highly recommended

The staff at the café are brilliant. Had an amazing lunch here, one of us had to go somewhere local and they were very accommodating in making sure they had fresh food to eat when they got back. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you to you all.
