The restaurant is very welcoming with excellent food and staff. There is nothing negative to say about anything. The food is of good quality, served in large portions, and worth every penny.

We had ribs which were really disappointing. They looked good but were dry and overcooked and served with sauce just poured over the top and sat on some really anaemic chips. Definitely not to be recommended.

A British traveler stopped at this pub while journeying back from the Lake District. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was bustling, and the locals were welcoming. The food and beer were enjoyable, and I would recommend visiting this pub.

I booked my brothers wake here and would like to say that the food was brilliant and plentiful. The staff were friendly helpful and welcoming. Everybody who attended loved it there. I would like to thank Dom and his staff for everything they did and for making us all feel welcome

My wife and I went the night before Xmas eve 10 at night children were shouting and playing football in pub garden it would seem that this public houses clientele is mainly from the Irish travailing community though that's fine it did feel uncomfortable at times due to the rowdy ness and do as you likely attitude

Meat all on the tough and chewy side. American style dinner with large portions. Nice pub with friendly staff. We ordered two starters which came the same time as the main meals. I mentioned this to the young waitress and she said “ oh did you want them first” I always thought that’s when your starters came. Menu is fine but the food could be cooked to a far higher standard. Food all comes on top of paper which is just annoying and adds nothing to the presentation. Sadly another pub I won’t bother with again.

had a surprise visit from family in the Netherlands for my birthday, so Sunday lunch required and once again it didn't disappoint between us we had the Lamb, Pork belly and chicken tasty hot well cooked my family loved it. i had the waffles oh my god amazing , the staff are wonderful smiling, cheerful and nothing too much trouble meal are large and full of flavour. well done to you all my family will be back next time they are over couldn't believe they had such a lovely meal coming out of such a small kitchen

Massive portions delicious food. Be careful what you order if you’re not that hungry! We ordered avocado garlic mushrooms on toast (three slices of toast! , and halloumi wrap goats cheese salad (as we didn’t want chips slaw . Wrap was enormous tasty. Greek salad could have been my main meal, the portion was so generous. Plus it came with a side salad as garnish but once again, a good portion. Will defo eat there again, but either have wrap or Greek salad as a separate lunch rather than altogether. Would thoroughly recommend. Approx £12 per head for lunch.

After seeing the recommendation on Trip Advisor, I was a bit underwhelmed by the basic appearance of the restaurant when I arrived. I was initially worried that the lack of customers meant it might not be a good choice. Despite not finding the fish and chips on the menu as suggested, I opted for the chicken kebab instead. To my delight, it was delicious, and the accompanying salad was very fresh. The chips were also tasty, and there was a generous selection of sauces available. The beer (Smugglers) was also very enjoyable. The service was excellent, and overall I had a very satisfying lunch experience.
