"a real jewel of an orte. george is an excellent host and creates amazing locally baked and skillfully cooked meals. very welcoming little restaurant that felt like a place you can call yourself. to the luck to far from a chain restaurant as they can get! everything is crooked to order and care the cook personally wanders the dining room to check that eating is perfect. the ambiente is relaxed and friendly supported by 2 excellent staff in front of the house, while george makes its magic in the open kitchen (supported by another cook). dee pfannkuchen roles 9/10 salt, pfeffer bauch schwein 10/10 (absolute superb you can really say his since days marinated, beautiful deep of taste . teriyaki nudeln and lachs 9/10 surf n turf (10oz top quality local ribeye plus 8 large garnel 10/10 (too many nice cut beautiful chips! sticky toffee pud and tiramis. we don't have to eat a week! small wine list, but a well thought out selection. I work in many 5* restaurants (one has a Michelin star and the Cwtch restaurant in llantwit major is so good if not better. they don't pass it. they can go! we will return definitiw. bravo george"

We had another fantastic Sunday Lunch at this restaurant, this time for Mother's Day. We all enjoyed the perfectly cooked Lamb roast. The entire dish was excellent, especially the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. We have dined here on numerous occasions and George and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

had the best meal I had at the bottom while back in wales! I wanted something special to share Sunday dinner with my mother and mother-in-law. I had heard good things, but it has far exceeded my expectations. the hoisin duck jump rollerstarters were simply sensational, full of taste. the lamb dinner is only for to die, with beautiful roasted kartoffels, papagei, a yorkshire pudding, which I never wanted to finish, all served with a stunning gravy and side of flower cabbage, brokkoli, bran and carrots! Many thanks to an elenid and george for a wonderful lunch experience and for the support, to create memories!
