"Friends were recommending this restaurant for some time and we finally managed to the time to get there for a Sunday lunch experience . Experience in so far that whilst the menu appeared somewhat restricted and unusual, at least for my personal taste, the food supplied was outstanding, well presented and absolutely delicious. Having seen the size of portions on other tables, we decided to give a the starters a miss and homed in on the pork roast followed by some tasty ice deserts. Yes, the food was sumptuous, the atmosphere was most enjoyable and the friendly staff needs to be congratulated for their efforts too. No doubts we shall be coming back!"

The food was much more than you would expect from a village pub, slightly quirky choices, delicious and generous portions. Lovely atmosphere, would thoroughly recommend.

A hidden local delight. Love it here! So much choice for someone who is veggie/vegan and caters for gluten free. Thoughtful dishes fab pizza, friendly staff who clearly make an effort to go above and beyond to give genuinely lovely customer service.

Pro's: I have never had a roast chicken quite like the one here, perfect.Area to improve: Make it more obvious on the website which days/times the menu's are available. Did not expect to not be able to have the standard lunch menu at Sunday lunchtime and only the roast menu.

Visited the curious eatery back in early August. What a find! Have tried loads of these gastro places out in Kent over the last couple of years but have to say this is the best yet. Home grown food, friendly staff good beer and a boutique upstairs where my wife bought some bits.

Another visit for an evening meal. Friendly staff, great service and amazing food. Starters extremely tasty. Mains, Salmon was beautifully cooked and the pea mint and cream sauce was superb, pizza was delicious and puddings finished the meal of brilliantly. Will be back again soon Thank you :

We have visited here a few times and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and offer great service. The food is divine. Hats off to the talented ladies in the kitchen. The quality of the food they produce is outstanding. It not only looks good but it tastes amazing- some very unique and ambitious dishes.

We have been here with family several times, and it never disappoints. Sunday lunch was excellent and a good price. The staff are friendly and efficient and they cater well for young children (our 10 month old was kept quiet for 30 minutes with a large Yorkshire pudding! My husband raved about the Goat dish; others of us had an excellent Sunday roast beef. Service is perhaps a little slow but we were a party of nine and it was a busy Sunday lunchtime if you are out for a social occasion it gives you a chance to chat over a drink!
