First visit since the refit. We had a family meal and all food was very nice indeed. The place looks so much better too. Steak did not come out as well done as requested but this was quickly rectified. Will definitely visit again. Voir le carte

The service provided by all the staff members was excellent. Our meal was delicious and served promptly. They made sure that our starter arrived with our main dish and it was brought to our table with a smile. The atmosphere was friendly and the live music added to the experience. We will definitely be coming back.

I stayed at this restaurant for a couple of nights during the festive season and found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The room was average, but the single beds in the family room were uncomfortable and the bathroom was not cleaned properly before our arrival. On our second night, we returned to dine for dessert and while the staff were attentive, the food was only mediocre.

Lovely old building just off the motorway. Dedicated parking for hotel guests but no electric charging as yet. Staff were excellent and right on it, with service. Rooms newly decorated and the whole guest section was very presentable. We had puddings and they were really good quality and well priced. One point of note, the guest entrance had key entry, but both at night at 9pm and 7.30 am the door was on the latch. Would definitely use again. Voir le carte

We were all pleasantly surprised after the much needed refurbishment. The pub looks fresh and clean and done out in a modern style. Food is usual pub fayre, but cooked to a good standard at reasonable prices. Service was great, and the barman was up for a chat and a laugh, which I always appreciate. To top it off, they serve Neck oil. Nice to sit in the rear garden after the food was finished as well. Youngest enjoyed the play area. Much improved pub and really enjoyed our visit. Thanks.

I went to this restaurant with a friend to catch up and was blown away by the amazing atmosphere and exceptional staff. There was live music, which made us stay for an extra drink. The food was delicious, especially the steak which was part of their mid-week deals. Special thanks to Sean and Daniel for the fantastic meal. Poppy, who served us at the bar, was extremely friendly and talkative. Overall, the place, staff, food, and atmosphere were all great. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night on a Saturday back in June 2023. First impressions were great. The pub has a separate car park for guests which had plenty of free spaces and we received a friendly welcome upon check in. We were placed on the ground floor but were far away enough from the pub itself and heard no noise whatsoever from the main pub throughout our stay, and heard not too much noise from the main road. The room was pleasent, perfectly clean, and with a comfy bed (was a bit like stepping into a new and modern Travelodge room). We stayed during 28 degree C heat and the room had neither aircon or a fan, so as a result it was uncomfortably hot all night. Any other time of the y... Voir le carte
