Gardeners Arms Pub - Carte

We stopped for a drink in the sunshine. The pub garden is very tired looking. My pint of wainwrights was on the turn but my wife had a nice cider. We didn’t eat but the food here did look.

We've just had 3 delivered meals, lasagne was lovely, sausage chips and beans was really nice and the double burger and chips was out of this world, all the food was hot and delivered on time, probably the best burger I've had for years and at a very reasonable price... We visited this pub today for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. We were met by warm inviting staff and shown to a cosy room with a friendly atmosphere. The roast dinner was delicious and plenty of it served on warm plates which was a bonus. It says it all when we say we will definitely be going again with family and/or friends. I arrived at 11:15 am based on the website stating the restaurant opens at 11am. The front door was open so we went in for a drink. A woman appeared and informed us that they were not open, despite what the website indicated. We apologized and asked for their opening hours, only to be told they open at 11:30 to 12. This seemed like a very unprofessional way to operate a pub. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to this establishment. I am curious to see how they will respond. Voir le carte

I stopped by for lunch on Saturday and had a pint of the house pale ale, which was in great condition. We decided to sit in the cozy restaurant area with only 16 seats. The ambiance was charming with old-school vibes and pleasant piano music in the background. The menu was extensive with all homemade dishes, and the specialty pies sounded delicious. Our sandwiches, served in a flatbread, were excellent with thick cut ham, cheesy chips, and a side salad. Deb also enjoyed her fish dish. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be coming back again.

I ordered breakfast from the Deliveroo app, which also had the same menu on Just Eat. After waiting 25 minutes, I received a voicemail saying that they no longer offer this item and did not provide any alternative options. I had to inquire about their current menu offerings, as there was a wide range listed on the app. They informed me that I needed to contact Deliveroo to cancel the order, even though they had already accepted it and the app stated that the order was being prepared. When I tried to contact Deliveroo, I was redirected back to the restaurant. The staff was unhelpful and rude over the phone, making me feel like it was my fault. I am still waiting for a refund.

Made to feel very unwelcome by staff, almost as we were a nuisance. Barmaid got distracted by talking to other staff halfway through taking the order with no apology. Long wait for food although the pub was very quiet. When the food arrived it was placed on the table with no cutlery. Having waited several minutes while our food was going cold, the barmaid eventually reappeared with oir chips. When asked for cutlery and was told very curtly that it was in another room where you normally order your food . As this was our first visit we were not aware of this. Sadly, it will also be our last visit and will look to find a more welcoming hostelry next time we visit Droitwich. At best the food was... Voir le carte
