"We popped in for a roast after being unable to go for a long walk as planned as the weather was shocking. Every cloud has a silver lining as they say because we wouldn't have been able to visit if it wasn't for the rain. The staff were incredible, the food was delicious (all too often pubs get away with serving lack luster Sunday Roasts but certainly not here), the venue it's self is like something out of a book. It's all so picturesque and idealistic (even in the rain). Definitely worth a visit! Food drinks: Delicious Sunday roast"

We had a wonderful short break, from the very first night the staff and locals made us very welcome, you know who you are . A charming inn situated in a quiet area with the most amazing food and drink. We stayed for two nights and were made very welcome by both the owners and their staff. Breakfast was freshly made and we ate in the restaurant both nights. Food was 10/10 and highly recommended. *Do take note of their directions as they will reduce the tiny roads you have to travel.

My wife and I had a great 3 nights staying at the Inn with our golden retriever. The food was excellent, the ale great and the staff were all very friendly. Our dog loved the local walks. The lane's around the Inn are quite narrow, I would suggest checking with the Inn the easiest way to get there, rather than rely on the sat nav. Walkability: Some nice walks from the Inn, although the nearby forest is private. Rooms: 5
