Loved our visit here today. Brilliant! The chips were delicious, as was the cod that we had. Super service with a smile.

Diamond of a Fish and Chip supper from this place whilst we holidayed in Newborough. All food ordered was very tasty and would definitely recommend!

I am obsessed with the chips here. They are divine! Fresh, soft inside and crispy and gnarled on the outside. Beautifully cooked. I travel miles to this chippy because they are best in Anglesey I would say.

Best fish and chips I've had in years. The chips were just the right size and cooked to perfection crisp and not soggy like so many are these days. Husband and son had sausage and were equally impressed. We'll definitely be back.

You need to get organised, even pre covid it was a horror. I thought the pre ordering system would make things better but no 20 mins wait last night, loads of people waiting outside some will be even more frustrated than me when they find they have to pre order. Whilst staying nearby in self catering accommodation, we phoned through an order and was quickly and politely received. Driving out to pick up Cod 'n '; Chips twice I found parking easy and the Fish and chip shop very clean, efficient and only kept me waiting a minute or so whilst my order was wrapped. It really was a pretty good meal and the service was excellent.

In previous visits to Anglesey, my friends and I have tried Scarlett’s and The Golden Fry. Both lovely. This year, with the pandemic, we wanted somewhere we could click and collect. We tried codmother based on positive reviews. Fantastic!!Click and collect worked very well indeed. Ordered online and paid online. Given a 5 min slot to collect. Arrived, and my food was ready. Staff have a table blocking the door, so no need to go inside. Confirmed who I was and I was passed my bag of food. The food was amazing. Large pieces of delicious fish with crisp batter. Visited while on holiday nearby.Called in on our first night and their system for ordering during this pandemic seemed well organised. Was advised on arrival at the door that the wait time was 30 minutes. Not a problem as we were staying 2 minutes away. There was also online ordering available for them too but wait times appeared longer still.When we collected food it was being packed ready for us so was good to see it had not been sat for any time going soggy etcWe took the short drive up to cable bay to enjoy our food looking out to sea as the sun was beginning to set.Food was delicious, fish, chips, sausages,curry sauce (fruity) all very tasty not soggy or too greasy.
