Aweful meal was cold and the Manger neil was rude we payed left and had t to explain to our kids what rude language was AVOID

Good pub food at very reasonable prices. Friendly landlord and attentive staff. A pleasant change from gastro pub prices. Recommended.

Under new management and what a change. 6 of us decided to return after a break of 4 years. New menus, good size portions and a fair price. Staff were very friendly. We will definitely return on a regular basis. Voir le carte

Superb Sunday roast, plentiful and cooked to perfection especially the beef which was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this pub for Sunday lunch or, going on the quality of the food, at any time. We will certainly be back.

Great Father’s Day meal, booked at short notice for 5 people. We were asked to choose our food from the set menu which was no problem . We noticed that there was no cheese and biscuits on the desert list. We called the pub and spoke to Dan who immediately said that will be no problem. Great food and good service. We had a family funeral on Jan 9th and asked of the **** could hold the wake for us and nobody was disappointed. The buffet was arranged for 40 people and it was an amazing spread with all sorts of hot and cold food and was all wonderfully fresh. If anyone needs a venue with food and a warm atmosphere then I highly recommend. Thank you for making our day a lot easier

We were in the area for a couple of nights before heading back to Australia and made a booking at the Hotel. Lovely meal and great atmosphere, we had a lovely girl who served us and was very attentive to our visit. Speaking with the Landlady at the conclusion she informed us both her girls were leaving that day so will be sadly missed. A must visit for anyone looking for a traditional UK pub meal.

On the positive side the welcome and service was friendly and the food we did have was nice. We went on a steak themed night for my daughters birthday. I asked for a glass of merlot and they had none. They had run out of all burgers so my daughter couldn't have what she wanted. We assumed we would be safe with steak on a steak night but they had run out of rump steak. So had no choice but to order the more expensive cut. This was 7.30 on a steak night evening.
