This place has a wonderful feature I've never seen before: outdoor tables inside greenhouses. This is a genius idea the weather is always tricky outside, but you can always enjoy your beer outside.

Fantastic Service, superb food and smiles all round. The waitress dropped my meal, but apologised and sorted another dish, which was delicious no harm done. Incredible value and brilliant food. What else can you want?

climb up to reach the pub restaurant, but worth the ascent. ambience is beautiful staff very attentive. sitting area is spotless a chair beautiful to see and comfortable. eating was absolutely delicious and worth the money. home cooked chips were a defoamer winner. jamie. would be highly recommended.

First night in the area and we had decided to try the nearest place to our apartment , great choice as the Coachhouse provided a good meal in a nice environment ,even for a Monday night late in October it was quite busy but our food and drinks came quickly and correctly. I had the scallops followed by the chicken burger while the gf had the fish and chips , all delicious and well cooked , price was very reasonable so a good start to our stay in Dornoch.

Vegetarians will be pleased, as there are plenty of options on the menu. Plus, there’s ample parking available—about 12 spaces right next to the bar, and it's free. Expect to pay around £20 to £30 per person.

Came up for an impromptu early dinner, we arrived 10 minutes after opening of the restaurant upstairs to find the doors locked. Went to the bar to be greeted by a friendly barman who had to go and ask the staff upstairs to open the door. When we were shown to our table we were initially impressed by a nice clean dining area albeit quiet as we were the only people in attendance. This later on made more sense as the food, staff and general atmosphere were abundantly inept. The food took a very long time to come as did the drinks orders. They had to retake one drink order due to missing alcohol from stock. The garlic bread we were served was a bizarre tasting mess of a muffin like consistency....

Glorified Public School Dinner food hiding behind a beautiful scenic dining area. Server wasn 't too bothered about their job, kinda like it doesn 't matter what food they did and didn 't have in that day. Seemed very excited when leaving the table to tend an empty bar. Didn 't ask once if food was okay, if they had I 'd of mentioned the myriad of wrongs occurring upon the three plates in front of us. Ordered from evening menu, beef burger, chicken burger and garlic bread. The former two came with undercooked chips (as if the fryer was just turned on for our meal), pale onion rings, two dimensional tomato slices (two of per burger), two measly leafs of lettuce and no house sauce of any kind....
