Very nice friendly country pub, staff are all very friendly and welcoming, food was all freshly made to order and very tasty, great portion sizes, highly recommended.

Lovely traditional village pub with log fire and great quality pub food at a very reasonable price. We have been a few times, and always had a really warm welcome, and fantastic service. A real treasure well worth a visit.

This charming village pub has a vibrant atmosphere on Friday evenings. The menu is interesting and diverse, with attentive and friendly staff, particularly the landlord. The food is excellent, with delicious flavors and generous portions. Be sure to leave room for the fantastic desserts.

We stumbled across the coach and horses last December while renting an airbnb. We enjoyed our visit so much we booked the same airbnb just to visit the pub. The staff are all so friendly and the food is wonderful. Home cooked meals and great value for money. I'm sure we will be back again. Kelly

My friend and I really enjoyed our lunch at the Coach and Horses. The staff made us feel welcome and the service was swift and efficient. We both had really fresh sandwiches with salad but also decided to have a side order of macaroni cheese (well, it was a cold day! which we ended up taking home as the portion was very generous. This pub is an absolute treasure and nothing is too much trouble with David and brenda. We were so welcomed with such good hospitality and all our needs were met when it came to food and were even allowed things that weren't on the menu. Food was so exceptional. This is the best place we have been to in our entire lives. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. We were warm and cozy. Highly recommended. Thank you

The local pub in our area has been gaining popularity for the past three years. Every time we visit for a drink or a meal, we are greeted warmly and the atmosphere is incredibly friendly. We now have to make reservations for Sunday early lunches, but it is definitely worth it. The food is delicious, well-prepared and nicely presented. The service from the waiting staff, as well as the pub owner, is very efficient and attentive. This pub is a wonderful addition to Sutton Scotney.

So my friend I decided Sunday lunch was in order so we took a drive out to this pub it did not disappoint. We arrived early ….ordered, the landlord concerned we’d be cold moved us from one area to another brought a heater too. The food did not disappoint I had nut roast my friend had the beef both came with roasties, gravy (veggie in my case), carrots peas, cabbage cauliflower cheese, all lovely presented cooked beautifully. We had enough room for Crumble with custard which was really tasty. My dog didn’t miss out he got a decent bowl of beef off cuts which he thoroughly enjoyed.
